Disclaimer: Saiyuki does not belong to me. This poem does.

A note: This poem was written a while ago by yours truly, butI believe it pretains to the characters pretty well. This poem kind of reflects the Sanzo-ikkou's pasts. I'm sorry ifit's not that good. Read and enjoy.

Colors

Red is the flame that burns within

Black is the oil that tells of my sin

Gray are the chains to which I'm bound

White is the mirror I see on the ground

Within that mirror, what do I see?

Orange, Yellow, Blue, Green

And the face that resembles gloom

Within that face a new life blooms

Orange is the sun setting each day

Yellow is the dawn's morning ray

Blue is the rain, rushing down my back

Green is the forest, which I lack

Within that forest, what do I hear?

Beige, Purple, Chrome, Teal

And the hate, which resembles the fire

Within that hate is my heart's desire

Beige are the walls I look at each night

Purple is the wound I get each fight

Chrome is my enemy, which I fear

Teal is the scream I wish to hear

Within that scream, what can I do?

Nothing…NOTHING! It is true,

And the scream, which is like the song

I wake from this dream and all is gone.
