She read the letter again, tears in her eyes. She couldn't seem to put it down; the last connection she'd been given. Her husband; her King...gone again. Charging off into dangers unknown, as he had years ago. His bravery was never in doubt, of course. Nor was his skill. Her husband was a Keyblade Wielder of the highest order, a Master. Things were happening again, and his good heart wouldn't let him sit idly by, even at the cost of his Queen's suffering.

His letter asked for his Wizard, his Captain of the Guard, to go to another world, to find a man named Leon. She didn't know who Leon was, but obviously he was someone her husband trusted. She would have to trust him, too. The stars were blinking out, one by one, as they had nearly eleven years earlier.

Her King had not been a Master, then. Barely an apprentice with his weapon, learning against the will of his grumpy and aged master. The old man had complained that he was too old to teach, her husband too old to learn. Keyblades were the weapons of the young, the passionate, oft times the foolish, as well.

"Your Majesty?" A voice said, and she looked up. Her Lady in Waiting gave her a tremulous smile. The one she loved had just left; they were both left behind, to worry and wait. She held out a hand, with a sad and wistful smile, and her lifelong friend and companion took it gratefully. She sighed, and they gazed out the window, watching the sun set.

"Is there anything we can do?"

She sighed. "We'll just have to trust the King."
