"Mabel!" Dipper called to his twin. "Come on we're going to be late!" He checked his watch.
Despite being 13, he didn't look that much different from when he was 12, just taller and had tiny chin hairs. He still wore his pine tree hat but ditched the blue vest. Instead he sported a red unbuttoned checker shirt, dark brown jeans and a grey shirt.
"Coming!" Mabel replied and ran downstairs, carrying Waddles.
She too was taller and her hair was cut to her shoulders. It was still wavy and brown only with a pink strip on the right side. She still had braces because the last procedure hadn't worked on account of her eating too many gummy koalas. She wore a red sleeveless sweater and khakis with hiking boots.
Waddles had a tiny black bow on his little head, that he had already started chewing.
They were going back to Gravity Falls for the summer, eager to get back to their Grunkles and Soos. They missed the whole place even up to the creeps like Gideon.
Their mother and father agreed to send them to the Falls as long as they worked at the Mystery Shack and promised to write.
They clutched their suitcases and dragged them out of their house and into their parents' car.
"So, what do you think you're going to do first when you get there?" Mrs. Pines asked. She slightly resembled Mabel except she had straight hair and green eyes.
"Visit Candy and Grenda!" Mabel said at the same time Dipper said, "Explore the forest!"
"Huh?" Mrs. Pines asked. "Why the forest?"
Dipper looked nervous. Mabel and Dipper agreed not to tell anyone including their parents about their summer. People would think they were lying or worse, crazy. So they decided they should keep it secret.
"Um, I mean see Soos!" Dipper said, sweating.
"Oh," Mrs. Pines shrugged and didn't think about it too much. She drove them out of their house and into the parking lot of a building. The building was right next to the bus stop, where she said goodbye to her children.
"I love you guys," Mrs. Pines whispered into their ears as they all hugged each other. "Don't forget to call or I'll have to go and get you." The twins laughed and as the bus pulled up, Mrs. Pines helped get their luggage in and waved goodbye.
"Ready?" Mabel asked.
"Totally," Dipper said.
Notes from the Author...
Alright I need to sort a couple of things out before you read the rest of this story.
I will be using chapters for this series and maybe make another story.
Also I don't own Gravity Falls because well I'm obviously not Alex Hirsh and if I did I would probably make this a reality.
And all of this takes place after season 2, so yes there will be spoilers.
Comments are appreciated!
Chapters are always going to be longer than this one, though.
Next, during this series I don't want anyone saying that Dipper and Wendy are meant to be! There is a 3 year difference and Dipper is over her. Also if you ship Dipper and Candy your just kidding yourself, because they literally don't even like each other. And finally you can't ship Mabel and Dipper because they are brother and sister. People who ship them ruin the entire series and make it awful.
Okay with that in check I hope you enjoy this series!
