I wasn't afraid when the Russians came in. Confused, yes. Afraid, no. I wasn't even afraid when he made me handcuff myself to the toilet and said he was going to kill me.

It was when he said he was going to kill my brother. That's when my heart stopped. That's when I knew what fear was.

Murphy is all I have in this world. If any thing should ever happen to him, my life would end. He's my brother, my other half. He is it.

When they led Murphy out of them room and he looked back at me, everything in me broke. They had cornered me like an animal.

So even though the blood was flowing from my head and my wrists I would not stop until I was free. They were not going to take my world from me.

The toilet came lose and the pipe became a fountain, causing the area to be come slick. I ignored it and walked with determination out to the roof to the edge , not sure what I was going to do until I was doing it.

And as I flew through the air, I knew that everything would be ok.
