Disclamer I don't own the Skullette, I only own FireFang. This takes place in Dragon City which was created by my friend kelsetalicia, who also owns Skullette.
A How To Train Your Dragon Drabble I suppose? Tho it lacks any cannon characters in Kelseyalicia's stories Skullette and FireFang exist on Berk and Subsequently exist in Dragon City. So you could say this is a branch off of her stories.
Rolling a bit on her side, a sandy haired teen found herself trying to wake, visions of her parent's death playing in her mind howling until it woke her, bolting up with a cold sweat. Rubbing her arms to warm up slightly, FireFang looked at her clock to see it was no earlier than 3am. Sighing, she tried to lay back down and quiet the terrors in her mind, to no avail. Flashes of fire crossed her vision and only minutes later, she was up again. This time she grabbed the pillow and made her way to the door.
The cold air that seemed to wrap around the slender teen did nothing to help the already cold feeling of the fire in her mind. FireFangwas pretty sure she would be completely numb by the time she reached the room she had set out for. Turning true corner, she knocked on the door before her.
From the other side, a mumble could be heard from the resident as the door clicked open, a sleepy tall blonde rubbing an eye as she looked down to meet the teens large brown puppy eyes. Raising a brow, she yawned and leaned on the door frame, trying to piece her thoughts together before speaking.
"FireFang. Why are you up to early?" Skullette asked her cousin watched the other fidget and twirl her fingers in the pillow sheet, hugging the soft object against her chest. Taking a hint, the blond girl moved and motioned the other to enter, "You look cold, you should get out of the hall."
Nodding, FireFang entered the room and only turned to meet her cousin's eyes once the door was shut, her voice low enough that it was difficult to even hear her "Skullette, can I stay here tonight…?"
Skullette had to blink a little and process the question properly before responding, "I guess. Only if you tell me what happened though," "Nightmare," the brown eyed teen mumbled, curling up on the bed and trying to get as far in the corner as she could, "fire everywhere…" She cringed slightly at the visions dancing around in her head each time she closed her eyes, giving a small whimper at the unpleasant images.
Walking over, the blond sat beside the little bundled girl and reached over, sighing and petting the teens hair, "It's okay Fire." She laid down and pulled the blanket over them, pulling the small girl into an embrace, allowing the younger to relax, "It'll be okay, cousin, they will go away." FireFang seemed to relax.
"Thanks Skull," the sleepy girl yawned and curled up against her cousin unconsciously as she dozed off, briefly catching the 'good night FireFang' as a calm quiet sleep overtook her mind.
