Disclaimer: None of this is mine. If it was Morgana would be Queen.
Hope
Morgana hoped many things to happen.
She hoped one day that women and men would be equal. That one-day woman would be allowed to fight. That one day a queen would be seen to be just as powerful as a king.
She hoped that maybe one day her guardian, King Uther would see sense and put a stop to the executions. That one day the people of Camelot would be free to embrace the gift they were given without fear of execution. That one day she did not have to hear the mothers and children of those sentenced screaming in protest. To see a head departing a body of one who was merely using magic.
She also hoped that when Arthur was king he would be a better one than that of his father. That he would be honorable and kind. Ready and willing to help those who are in need.
She hoped that he would make it to this time. That he would pull through this journey. That he would come back to Camelot unscathed.
Last but most defiantly not least she hoped that she would be with him when the time came for him to be king. That she could rule alongside him as his queen.
But alas, we do not always get what we wish for. Hope is merely a light in the dark. Something to hold onto. A desire.
The Lady Morgana stood up and walked to her window hoping to see a sign that the one she desired was okay. She did not see it. Time could only tell. She must wait to see what the future holds. Something she is not used to doing
A/N - I might do a sequel to this, as I love this coupling. Review if you want a sequel.
Thanks for reading.
There is a very beautiful button below with green words written on it. When it is pressed I am very happy.
