Mi Yoong spread her arms out as the cool breeze of the Mediterranean Sea swirled around her. She felt the last rays of the setting sun kiss her pale, white face.
When Mi Yoong was a small child, she was curious of the world outside of Mongolia. She dreamed more than anything just to see anything other than the mountains surrounding the valley of her village .
She could silently recall what her parents had said to her when they had heard her say this.
"Oh Mi, my little angel, the world is so big and your so small!", her father would chuckle.
"Yes," her mother agreed, " your father is right Mi, and the world is dangerous too! Sometimes it is best to stay here in our village. "
But Mi did not want to stay in the village, Mi was a bird longing for flight . Mi knew that she would not stay in this village for long, her parents knew too. So when her 14th birthday was just around the corner, her parents had announced they would be taking a trip to Italy for a month.
That's what brought her here now, Mi had thought it would be nice to take a stroll on the beach before she would leave for home back in Mongolia.
Mi stood on the beach, smiling at the scene. The red, golden sun set the horizon ablaze and made the water shimmer like jewels. It truly was a breathtaking sight!
Mi Yoong stayed there until the sun was nearly engulfed by the earth, that's when it happened . White, hot pain shot up her back.
"AH-!", she started, but was cut off short when she choked on the blood rising in her throat. Mi twirled around and what she saw made her gasp, right infront of
her, barely inches away, was a set of 2 cold, black eyes. The attacker, she noticed, was about her age and was gripping a sword.
Mi wanted to scream, but no soumd came out. The attacker gave her a wicked smile before she thrust the sword in deeper. Before Mi Yoong knew it, she was engulfed in darkness.
...
The very next day, the lifeguards went out on the beach only to find Mi...Dead.
