What she had, was something no one else did. She was beautiful, but so were Ino and Sakura. She could paint flawlessly, but so could Sai. She adored animals. Like Kiba. She could solve math problems within seconds. Then again so could Tenten. She was even the perfect kisser, so was Naruto. Now, her ability to eat was delicate unlike that of Choji. Her speed was a hassle, opposite to Neji. And her eyebrows were narrow. Divergent to those of Lee. Against all comparisons and contrast, what Hinata had was a melody.

A sound that escalated from her body to his. Sasuke, no matter time or day, always heard a steady and light, very light beat from the Hyuga's thin figure. Sometimes he even caught himself whistling the tune, when the mansion (his home) was found abandoned. The first time he had listened to the song, it was at his staged execution. There she was. Silk strands of violet hair in the wind, threatening to entwine with his own coal-colored locks. She was the only female not crying and shouting confessions of love. She was merle here to see an evil creature be killed. And then it began to play.

At the beginning it was quiet. As he stared harder, it progressed to full volume. But all was interrupted as a rosette embraced the Uchiha and whispered "They are allowing you to live!". From that day forward Sasuke fumbled with theories: Why did only he hear music send of from her only? Plus did anyone else experience the sound too? Heavens no! That delight was his! And to prove his mind, he created a friendly relationship with the living speaker.

On today's present night, Sasuke was stargazing with said girl. Her clear pupils were pointed at the sky. A oceanic dress concealing her whole. The man looked away, but the rhythm of the song kept him at attention.

"Hinata-san"

"Yes?"

Her eyelids shut.

"Do you consider yourself musical?"

"What ever do you mean?"

"I..I am sorry. Pay no attention to my comment."

With a shrug of her frail shoulders, she swept herself into a sitting position.

It was close to midnight and the pair was to separate. At a sudden moment Hinata halted her walking and began to sing.

I am a star

And you are the sun

We are one

Sasuke-san won't you

Notice me.

As I shine for you.

Short. Weightless. Just like the song connected inside her.

"Sasuke. You asked if I was musical."

"Yes"

"I am a love song."

"A love song?"

"Sasuke's love song."

What a unique melody.
