Chapter one: A Troubled Kid

"Yes, I'd like him to be transferred as soon as possible. Yes, I know what kind of school that is, and I know what his grades are like, which is why he should go there. What do you mean he doesn't belong? Listen here, I control where he goes and who I recommend , so that is that! Good day, Doctor Troy! The principal slammed his phone down, frustrated. Why couldn't they see he needed special treatment? He gazed around his spacious white room, looking at all the awards his students went on to achieve. Each of the walls designated a school they went to,yet one wall, the wall behind him, was completely blank. It was the school Hugh Galeas High School, and it was a constant reminder of his failures. The students he couldn't teach, the ones he couldn't get to understand, and the ones who just didn't make it. Not a single award had ever been won, and the school was about to go down. It was a waste to send him there, but it had to be done for the bettering of the other children. As he sat back in his chair, leaning his feet on the silver polished table, he put his hands up to his eyes and grew tired very slowly. In the shadow of the doorway, he could've sworn an illumination of someone smiling faintly, but after all, what did he know? He didn't even know who he was, or what decision he just made. Heck, he didn't even know why pictures were on his walls…
