Soooo….This just kinda happened. I was just about to do my homework, but then I got an extremely large surge of inspiration to write a Gaara poem. I still haven't started my homework…I should probably get on that...

I hope you like it as much as I do, enjoy.

(Now that I think about it, I guess this can be my Halloween special…)

The silver moon is full tonight,

Mother is screaming at me.

I search for someone to please her,

Though no one do I see.

The more I prove my existence,

The more they cower in fear.

Like cockroaches they scatter,

When the Demon of Sand they hear.

I make my way through lonely streets,

For now, anyone will do.

The thrill of the hunts surges through me,

Their nickname will prove true.

A kunai flies toward my back,

But I do not turn my head.

Mother will protect me from harm.

Soon this fly will be dead.

The moon slowly fades away,

And the cock begins to crow.

As the reddening sky hints,

At a day he'll never know.

Mother is finally appeased, for now.

And as I walk through this war-torn land.

The people part out of fear, and hate,

For their Demon of the Sand.

For any of those weirdos out their that read Fractures (I think that's what it's called, I always forget what my story titles are, and I'm too lazy to check right now…) I AM working on the next chapter, it's just that what I intended to be the third chapter became the fourth, so now I have to write another chapter before I can post it. I'm kinda just going through the plot in my mind because I didn't actually think about what the story was going to be about before I posted it, so yeah… Minor technicality issues. I'll try to post the next chapter this Sunday though.

Happy Halloween.
