"A cat is to be hung today." said a black tom with a single gray paw. "She is to be hung for the crimes she has committed right here and now. Bring her forward, Sharptooth."

A white tom with a tooth sticking out dragged forward a tabby she-cat by the tail, her fur fluffed up in fear and mottled with grim. Her mouth was gagged and her eyes were clouded from fatigue and hunger

"Remove the gag." said the black tom, climbing a tree and turning to face Skyclan below.

"Yes, Soulstar." mewed the white tom, Sharptooth, as he did as he was told, earning a sharp nip from the she-cat.

Soulstar glared at the tabby. "Magmabreeze, do you know what you did to earn this hanging today?"

Magmabreeze was shivering from fear. " I didn't do anything Soulstar!" she cried. "Please! You have to belive me!"

A blue-gray tom padded up to Magmabreeze, his green eyes lowered.

"Moonstripe." she whispered. "You have to help me."

Moonstripe leaned forward and licked Magmabreeze between the ears. "I'll try." he murmered.

Magmabreeze sniffed. "Thank you."

Moonstripe nodded and turned towards Soulstar. "I believe my mate is innocent and tat she has never commited a single crime in her crime she is to be hung for, she did not commit."

Soulstar's only reply was the flick of his tail.

The seniors of Skyclan leaped onto the blue-gray tom, digging their claws into his fur.

"Get your paws off me!" Moonstripe hissed at them. "What in Starclans name are you do-!"

Magmabreezes scream cut him off. He looked over to see Sharptooth begin to tie a longer vine around his mates throat.

Magmabreeze saw Moonstripe and let out a silent wail.

"No!" Moonstripe roared, struggling free of the senior warriors. He broke free and took a soaring leap at Sharptooth. "Leave her alone!"

Sharptooth rolled over and as soon as his hind paws made contact with Moonstripes under-belly, he launched the blue-gray tom off. Moonstripe landed with a thud, the wind knocked out of him. He watched groggily as Sharptooth continued to tir the vine around Magmabreezes throat

He tried to get upas Sharptooth began to drag Magmabreeze to the tree Soulstar was perched on, but ended up collapsing.

"Is there anything you want to say before you are hung?"Soulstar asked Magmabreze as she climbed onto a fallen log underneath a branch that Sharptooth was tiring the vine onto.

Sharptooth chocked her slightly before she could reply. "You will regret doing this, Soulstar." she snarled.

Soulstar snickered. "You never cease to amuse me, now do you, Magmabreeze?" he turned to the crowd of cats below. "Let the hanging of the betrayer begin!"he shouted before jumping down and into the crowd.

Moonstripe finally managed to get up on shaky paws. "Magmabreeze. Don't. It doesn't have to end this way."

Magmabreeze looked sadly at the blue-gray tom as Sharptooth positioned himself behind the log she was perched on.. "I'm sorry, Moonstripe. I wish it could end differently. But you should always know that I love y-"

Sharptooth heaved thelog out from underneath her. Magmabreeze writhed for a few moments and then went still, suspended in mid-air.

"No!" Moonstripe cried, lunging forward.

The crows fluttered and all went silent.

I'm sorry! It's horrible, I know! If I had more time I could make it better, but this wil have to do for now. For his story I will be using different POVS for different chapters. Next one is Spiderponds, Magma and Moons oldest daughter, and she has a lot to say. Till next time!
