I know I haven't uploaded anything in forever (and I haven't updated HLHL in longer than I can remember ; n ; ) but I'm trying to get back into writing little by little after spending far too long not writing. I can't make any promises, but I'm already working on the drafts for several updates and/or stories that will be posted here, so if you're still following me even after I've been inactive for so long... Thank you for being patient!
Now, onto the fic description.
This is what happens when I watch certain YouTube videos (Screaming at Night in Sweden to be exact) at 3:30 in the morning after drinking coffee. I hope you'll all forgive me for this mass of words my brain puked into my Word document and onto my profile.
Contains light hints of SuFin, but nothing explicitly romantic. Just Tino noticing there's only one bed in the room. Either way, I own nothing.
I hope you enjoy it!
Tino looked around the hotel room in wonder, his fatigue from the plane ride nearly forgotten as he marveled at the ornate hotel room. "Wow, Berwald! The hotels here are so pretty!" he commented, earning a soft 'hn' from the Swedish male beside him. He set his suitcase down on the bed, trying to ignore the fact that there was only one bed in the room; they were either going to have to share, or one of them would sleep on the floor. He had a strong suspicion it was the former. It was already getting late, the minute hand nearing the 12 so the hour hand could meet the 10. "Um, Berwald?" he spoke up after getting the clothing put away, having remembered something from their flight.
"Hm?" Berwald turned to look at him, having been splitting his time between watching Tino unpack and staring out the window.
"You said that once we got here from the flight from Helsinki, you wanted to show me something?" The Finnish man's curiosity had been peaked, and he was aching to know what it was.
Berwald nodded. "Yeah, I wanted t'show you something about the people in m'country." the Swedish personification said in his heavy accent, slowly opening the window. Tino gave him an odd look, but said nothing. "Tino, this's the sound of m'people." he said before poking his head out the window. He took a deep breath before letting out a loud, low toned scream.
"B-Berwald! What did you do that for?! What if someone thinks you're hurt, or if you wake someone up?" Tino fussed, but the Swede shushed him.
"Just listen."
Tino furrowed his brow, but nodded, quieting himself so he could listen. He blinked as he heard what Berwald was trying to show him. He could hear several different people all throughout the city screaming back, some laughter mixed in with each different pitch of screams and yells. He heard some that sounded low, like Berwald's, and some that were shrill and high. He heard a soft chuckle next to him, and the Swedish man that made the sound leaned out again to let out another loud yell.
"Wow… This's a long one." he murmured, a small smile on his lips as he listened.
Tino chuckled and smiled. "Berwald, your capitol is a very interesting place at ten o'clock at night."
