Claiming: I don't own 'K' and its characters.
Fushimi woke up. Like the usual morning, he stared dully at the murky white ceiling for a moment, thinking of his boring life without Yata by his side and then got ready for work.
"Today is going to be another tedious day." - He signed, mumbles between his teeth.
He was patrolling around the streets when he saw the shadow of a ginger head.
"Mi~Sa~Ki~"
Yata turned around and saw Fushimi wearing his mad grin. "Saruhiko!" - Yata's arms opened wide, as if he was waiting for Fushimi to come and give him a hug.
"Mi~Sa~Ki~"
"Saru!" - Yata was still standing like that, arms open wide, eyes sparkling and staring into Fushimi's.
"What is this, Mi~Sa~Ki~? You want me to jump you or something? Isn't this something you should do with YOUR precious Mikoto? Or now you have realized how stupid to follow some worthless gang, ne, Misaki~" - Fushimi tried to provoke Yata. But right then, the subject of provocation stepped towards the provocatore and gave him a big hug. "Saruhikooo..." Yata whined while burying his face into Fushimi's chest and tightening his hug. "Good morning, Saru!" - he looked up with a wide smile and cute blush over his cheeks.
'What is this? Is this a dream? Misaki is actually hugging me? This must be a dream.' - Fushimi thought to himself while awkwardly putting his hands on Yata's back. He couldn't believe what he was doing, what Yata was doing!
"Saruhikooo.." - Yata was smilling and blushing like crazy while his Saruhiko was just dumbfoundedly staring into Yata's face.
"What's with the funny face, Saru?" - Yata chuckled as he let go of Fushimi. "Here, take this! You haven't had breakfast right?" - Yata handed Fushimi a white grocery bag and picked up Fushimi's hand, walked away, pulling the other boy. "I bought our breakfast. Now let's go home!"
Fushimi couldn't believe the warmth he felt in his hand. He couldn't believe that his hand was being pulled by Misaki. He couldn't believe that, at that moment, he was so close to his Misaki that he always yearned for.
"Yeah..Let's go..home...?" He tightened his grip of Yata's hand, as if the figure before him would disappeared if he let go. "Is this a dream?" - He talked to himself, but the other boy could hear it.
Yata turned around, giggled "You've been acting all funny today. Haven't got out of your sleepy head yet?"
Hand in hand, they reached Fushimi's apartment. Fushimi was about to hand Yata the bag and take the key out when the shorter boy quickly took the key from his own pocket and open the door.
"How did you have the key, Misaki?" - Fushimi asked confusedly.
Yata entered the apartment proactively and turned to Fushimi, still standing at the door frame, waiting for the answer - "What are you saying? Don't we live here together?"
