Welcome everyone, this is an idea that's been brewing in my mind for some time now, and I think you'll enjoy it very much. It'll be a crossover fic between Pokémon Rejuvenation and Neo Monsters, where the Angels of Aevium get sent on a deadly mission to liberate Verosia from the tyrannical ZTECH. Now if you're wondering who the Angels are, then Chapter 16: The Angels of Aevium in my Yugioh fic shall give you all the answers that you need. This fic will have some lemons in it, mainly female on female, so if you're into that then I guess that's a bonus for you.
So without furtherado, welcome to Angels of Aevium: Saviors of Verosia
Disclaimer: I do not own Pokémon Rejuvenation, or Neo Monsters. They are the property of their respective creators.
Chapter 1: A new mission
Abandoned Apartments: Oblitus Town
The once abandoned town has had some new life be breathed into it, though there still existed buildings from the old days, one of which was an apartment complex where illegal activity was conducted on a daily basis. Today was another one of those days, though it would be slightly different as it would feature a never-before seen gang to the region. The Remnants of the Ashura-Kai, led by the repugnant, power-hungry tyrant Tayama were in the middle of a drug deal that was meant to get them back on track after losing their grip over the Japanese capital of Tokyo. Inside the apartment, several Ashura-Kai goons were shifting boxes full of drugs in preparation for a deal with a local gang in the legendary Grand Dream City.
"Yes…everything is going according to plan." Tayama sneered to himself, concocting twisted schemes in his mind, schemes that need a generous cash injection to go off without a hitch. However a faint crashing sound could be heard on the floor above, alerting the guards nearby.
"The fuck was that…" one of the guards muttered to his comrade. "Boss, we're gonna check out what that noise was."
"Yes, yes. Just be quick about it!" Tayama barked in an annoyed tone, with the guards making their way upstairs. The first floor was incredible dirty, caked in dust and debris, with bits of furniture and concrete littering the area. The four guards patrolled the area, heading off into separate directions, none of them aware that they had made a fatal mistake. A guard had just finished walking by a small storage room, when the door opened slowly, and a young woman lunged towards the guard, covering his mouth before plunging a knife into his neck, blood pooling out of the wound as hot steel made contact with soft flesh. The guard gurgled and slumped dead onto the ground, as the girl pressed something on her ear.
"This is Melia speaking, I just took out one of the guards. There should be three more in the area." The now named Melia spoke into the speaker phone, to her team mates. She was the perfect definition of beautiful but deadly, with short blonde hair, that had a red ribbon on the left side, as well as bright blue eyes. Her outfit consists of a black long-sleeved shirt, with a white undershirt, and a black skirt. She also wore black boots with thigh-high socks, and a red scarf. She was about to get moving, when the dying groans of an Ashura-Kai grunt echoed throughout the area, causing Melia to head to the location and find the source of the noise. There, she saw her team mate in an empty room, cringing at the amount of blood that got on her outfit as she eyed up the dead grunt slumped over the chair.
"Shit, it'll take ages to get my outfit clean. And it was my favorite one too…" The young woman complained, cleaning her knife and sheathing it. She was rather cute, with bright purple eyes, and matching purple hair that reached her back. Her outfit consists of a sleeveless black shirt, and a white skirt. She also wears black loafers, and black and purple striped socks that reach the bottom of her knees. The girl then noticed her companion and ran up to her, hugging Melia tightly. "Oh, thank goodness you're alright—er, sorry about the blood."
"No worries, it's to be expected in our line of duty, Venam." Melia replied to her lover, gently caressing her back. The two childhood friends had recently confessed to each other about their love for one another, and had gone on a few dates before the mission. Just then, the other two Ashura-Kai thugs confronted the women and leered at them, hoping to capture them and turn them into Tayama's cock-warmers. But before they can orchestrate their sick plan, they were shot from behind and slumped dead onto the ground, with two more young women running up to the lovers.
"Didn't even see them coming; thanks for the save, Saki and Amber." Melia thanked the new comers, breaking off her hug with Venam.
"Don't sweat it, it's what best friends do." Saki smiled at them. Saki was quite the attractive girl, with shiny brown eyes, and black hair that reached her back. Her outfit consists of a greyish-black long-sleeved shirt and matching colored skirt. She also wears red loafers and white socks, as well as a red scarf.
"Please, I could've taken care of those punks myself." Venam chimed in, acting tough.
"Sure, you could've…." Amber retorted, crossing her arms. Amber was also quite the cutie, with a slight tan, ruby red eyes, and matching red hair that's done up in a long ponytail, with a bang covering her right eye. Her outfit consists of a black, short-sleeved shirt, with a red plaid skirt. She wears red sneakers, with matching red socks, and had some red hair decorations shaped like fire. It was then that Amber pressed down on the communicator on her ear. "We've cleared the first floor; the four of you can join us down here!"
Upon her cue, the elevator doors opened, with four other young women hopping out of the elevator shaft and meeting up with the group of four. "Finally, I was worried that I would never leave that muggy shaft." Aelita sighed in relief. She was quite adorable, with her magenta hair that was done up in a ponytail and bright green eyes. She wore a grey t-shirt with red sleeves, purple sweat shorts and white sneakers.
"Now the fun part begins; oh, I love the fun part." Nim cheered. Like Aelita, she was also adorable, with light brown skin, brown eyes and long black hair that was done up into two separate plaits. Her outfit consisted of a sleeved purple zip-up jacket with a black undershirt, a purple skirt and purple shorts underneath it.
"When we get back to base, I'm gonna raise a complaint to Spacea and Tiempa regarding how humid and uncomfortable that damn shaft was." Crescent muttered under her breath. She was quite the elegant lady, with wavy long black hair and bright green eyes. She wore a long-sleeved black shirt and a long, billowing, black skirt, with both articles of clothing decorated with various white ribbons, making her outfit resemble that of a Gothitelle.
"Oh please, your complaining was more intolerable than the humidity…" Erin snarked at her teammate. Erin was very attractive, with her short white hair that had a black ribbon tied at the back and sparkling blue eyes. Her outfit consisted of a sleeveless white shirt, a short skirt that showed off her lovely legs, and black high-heel shoes.
"Settle down ladies, we can continue this fight once we're done here." Melia called out in an attempt to ease her bickering teammates, which worked out rather well. "Now then, we can catch these creeps off-guard and teach them a lesson for trying to ruin our homeland!"
"Yeah, let's get ready to rock!" Amber cheered, with the brave heroines getting into their positions. Meanwhile, Tayama was tapping his foot impatiently, waiting for his idiot guards to come downstairs again.
"What's taking them so long…?" the ugly tosser grumbled under his breath, as an Ashura grunt ran up to his boss to give a report.
"Sir! The customers are here! Should we get the deal ready?" The grunt inquired.
"Very well then, I'll be sure to punish those idiots I sent upstairs once we're done here." Tayama replied, sitting down on his throne as the Ashura-Kai grunts got into position. A minute later, several representatives for the Infinite-Coldsteel League arrived at the scene and began business with the crooked tyrant.
"Ah, so you're the famous Tayama I've heard about. You don't look so impressive to me…" one of the ICL representatives broke the ice.
"I lost my seat of power thanks to those accursed Samurai from Mikado…" Tayama seethed through gritted teeth, angered that his pride was wounded. "This deal could save my organisation, so it is imperative that it goes through."
A malicious smirk appeared on the face of the ICL representative, known full well that they were already in control of the negotiations, a position of power that their leader had urged them to obtain as quickly as possible. "I see…truth be told, we're running a little low on funds that we can spend on a deal like this. How does 15 million dollars sound to you? I personally feel that it's a generous offer."
The bespectacled man was livid at this point; production of the drugs cost around 20 million dollars, and this brat was demanding a 25% discount. "Now, now…I can assure you that these drugs are rather high-quality. Originally, they were priced at 35 million, but I'll give them to you for 30 million instead. Now that's a generous offer, don't you think?" Tayama replied, hiding his intense anger. The Ashura-Kai offered to show the ICL the drugs, gesturing them to take a peek inside. But when they opened it, it activated a bomb, causing an explosion that killed several people, including the ICL representative.
"What in the goddamn—" Tayama bellowed, hopping up off his throne as the sounds of gunfire echoed throughout the area. Ashura-Kai and ICL thugs were getting gunned down by their mysterious foe, who bobbed and weaved throughout the hallways. Tayama, like the dirty coward that he was, hide behind his throne and waited for the gunfire to die down. Sure enough, the guns became silent a few minutes later, with the middle-aged man believing the threat was over. He got up off the floor, only to have eight guns pointed at him, having been cornered by Melia and her friends.
"The jigs up, Tayama. You can either come quietly with us, or we can deliver you in a body bag. Your move." Melia offered an ultimatum, as Tayama surveyed the area. The bodies of his goons and the ICL representatives were lying dead on the floor. The older man refused to believe that they would've been bested by this rag-tag group of women.
"Now then, no need to get hasty now." Tayama sneered, attempting to look tough in front of them. "Pretty little things like you can do a man like me quite the favor…"
"Oh bite it you repugnant prune! We're the ones with the guns, so if you try anything foolish, you'll be a dead man. Need I mention my special powers?" Crescent retorted, daring the foolish tosser to make a move. By now, he was sweating bullets from his forehead, desperately thinking of a way to get out of this alive.
"P-Please don't kill me! I'll give you anything; just let me blow my load into you!" The coward got to his knees and begged for mercy, disgusting the girls all to the point where Erin knocked him out cold with the butt of her rifle.
"Well that takes care of that bastard; who's helping be bring his ass to the police?" Erin asked out loud.
"No need to worry, I already alerted the cops of our position. They'll be hear soon to pick this guy up." Saki replied and true to her word, the incoming sirens indicated the arrival of the Oblitus Police Department. When they arrived there, they arrested Tayama and any surviving gang members they could find, but there was no trace of the person who tipped them off about the deal.
Angel Shrine: ?
The Angel Shrine was the top-secret location for the Angels of Aevium, where they prepared for both their regular and their secret lives. The eight girls had arrived in the main lobby, where they were greeted by their team leader, Valerie. Now Valerie was quite the graceful woman, with luscious navy-blue hair that reached her back, and matching blue eyes. Her outfit consisted of a short sleeved blue shirt that showed off her naval, and a pair of blue shorts, with a rope belt around the helm that held two small pouches. She also wore blue boots, which matched her outfit.
"And how did my lovely little angels go this time?" Valerie inquired, a warm smile on her lovely face.
"Better than expected! That stuffy old Tayama never knew what hit him!" Nim recalled with glee in her voice. "Hopefully we can kick back our feet for a few hours, I'm exhausted."
"Well I hate to be that person, but Spacea and Tiempa wanted to see you in regards to a new mission, and from the tone of their voices, it sounds like its quite serious." Valerie informed them of the bad news, with a few of them sighing in a mixture of exhaustion and annoyance.
"Great, can't wait for another convoluted trip through time…" Crescent muttered under her breath.
"Look, I know your exhausted, but hopefully you can get the rest you deserve once they're done with you. Come on, I'll show you the way." Valerie offered to them, hoping to keep their spirits high as she escorted them to the meeting room, where they would be briefed their next mission from their boss' second-in-command agents. The meeting room was quite spacious, with a table large enough to have at least 30 or so people sit beside it. There was also a large television screen that was useful in showing important information to the Angels. On the end of the table closest to the TV sat two young to middle aged women, Spacea and Tiempa
Both women were very beautiful; Spacea had long, hot pink hair, fair skin and sparkling blue eyes. She wore a billowing pink dress, which showed off her alluring, curvaceous figure, and a pair of hot pink high heels. Tiempa had shoulder length, silver hair, fair skin and mesmerising blue eyes. Her outfit consisted of a blue, short-sleeved t-shirt and a pair of whitish-silver jeans, which showed off her amazingly curvaceous figure, and a pair of white loafers. Both women were the physical manifestations of space and time respectively, a secret that very few people know about. As such, they were very powerful and were given high-ranking positions in the organisation. The two mystic women gestured for the newcomers to take a seat, as they began their mission briefing.
"I thank you all for coming, though I can feel that some of you came her begrudgingly. Isn't that right, Crescent?" Spacea commented, with the latter scoffing quietly under her breath. "I must say you handled that last assignment impressively."
"Thanks, miss." Melia replied. "Now what was this about a new mission?"
"A little backstory is required to gain an understanding of your assignment." Tiempa replied, switching on the TV, with the screen showing a cluster of six islands that were close to each other. "What you see before you is the Kingdom of Verosia, well it was a kingdom until it recently became the Holy Verosian Empire but that's getting ahead of ourselves. The empire is well known for the sport of Neo Monsters; which requires monster trainers to raise and battle Neo Monsters against other trainers, kinda like Pokémon battles in the various regions under the International Pokémon League, but it's slightly more complicated."
"Neo Monsters…I remember reading about them in a book while I was training back in Sheridan Village." Aelita commented, raising a hand to her chin. "Apparently there's over 1600 Neo Monsters to collect and train."
"Correct, but that's not important right now. Verosia is under the tyrannical thumb of a super corporation by the name of ZTECH. Now ZTECH have complete control over everything you can think of; egg distribution, ingredient habitats, monster battling, politics, agriculture, the list is seemingly endless. Our intel suggests that ZTECH is planning on invading nearby islands to expand their tyrannical empire, and it's your duty to stop them." Spacea continued.
"So, I take it you want us to go in and assassinate the CEO of ZTECH?" Amber assumed. "Sounds easy enough."
"No, it's not that easy. For one thing, we don't even know who the CEO is, or whether he's the one behind all the corruption. Furthermore, ZTECH's tyranny extends to all aspects of life in Verosia." Tiempa replied to Amber's comment in a serious tone. "Your mission is to infiltrate the empire and sign up as a Neo Monsters trainer, all while exposing and dealing with the corrupt corporation once and for all. We say trainer, as we can only offer enough funds for one person to raise some monsters, the other seven will have to assist the trainer in any way possible."
"Hmmm, I can't say I like the idea of not using my Pokémon…" Venam admitted. "By the way, are our allies in Reborn assisting us for this mission?"
"No, they're busy dealing with some terrorists in the Rikoto Region, the eight of you will be on your own." Spacea answered. "Now are there any other questions?"
"No ma'am, we don't have any more questions." Melia replied.
"Then you may leave. I suggest you get some rest and do some research overnight, you'll be arriving at Verosia tomorrow." Tiempa suggested, with the Angels and Valerie bowing before the duo and promptly exiting the room.
Break room
"This is absurd! They really expect us to master an entirely different creature battling system within the span of a day?!" Crescent vented, throwing a bouncy ball to the wall while she was reading up on the history of Neo Monsters.
"I dislike the idea as well, but it doesn't seem like we have a choice. If this ZTECH is as bad as they say it is, then we can't let them fulfil their twisted scheme." Venam replied, lounging on a beanbag while cuddling up to Melia. It was then that the door opened, and a young man entered the room. He had lightly tanned skin and had silky, dark brown hair that reached his shoulder blades, and light green eyes. His outfit consisted of a simple grey shirt, with a black jacket over it and matching black trousers that were topped off with a pair of white sneakers. In his hands was a yellow folder with some sheets of paper in them.
"Uhh…sorry to interrupt your play time, but I have some important information to give you." The man commented, with the other occupants turning to face the young man.
"Lucius! What a pleasant surprise." Melia smiled at him. "I'll take care of the documents, thank you very much."
"S-Sure." Lucius replied nervously, handing them over to Melia as the other Angels walked over to her to get a better look. "The documents contain the details regarding the agent loyal to the organisation; he'll be more than happy to provide you all with some help in setting up you own ranch."
"Well that's a relief." Saki sighed in content, stretching her arms. "I take it he knows about how there's eight of us?"
"Oh yeah, he does." Lucius replied. "As a matter of fact, he also has some info regarding ZTECH, which is a nice little bonus."
"Hmph, perhaps things won't go downhill as quickly as I first expected." Erin commented, a rare smile on her soft face. "Thanks for the extra help, Lucius."
"N-No problem!" He replied, a faint blush on his face. "I-I better head back to my station, I promised Ren I'll get him a donut."
"Take care then, you know what he gets like without his donuts." Melia giggled, with the young man leaving the room, leaving the girls to themselves. As they recharged their batteries after their last mission, they started wondering what life would be like in Verosia, unaware that their peaceful thoughts would be proved wrong so quickly.
?: Verosia
The room was nearly pitch-black, a few lit candles providing the only source of illumination in the room. There was a table in the center of the room, with four chairs sitting beside it, as if prepared for a meeting of sorts. Additionally, there were a few sealed crates in the room, their contents a mystery to everyone except the owners of the crates. Just then, the door opened as four men in black cultist robes entered the room, their faces covered with white masks and their hoods, and proceeded to sit down by the table. There was a stocky cultist, a tall cultist, a skinny cultist and a fat cultist, and it seemed like they were all part of the same organisation.
"Brothers…" the stocky cultist began. "With the successful disposal of Finnegan's Successor and his friends, Verosia is ripe for the taking. ZTECH was a major boon to our cause, thanks to the power and wealth it brings in."
"I still remember the day when we first assassinated the princess and her younger brother, before pinning the blame on the Champion and his 'Grand Four'. I'll never forget the sight of their bodies dangling pathetically as they were executed." The fat cultist chuckled ominously.
"With ZTECH doing a brilliant job of oppressing the populace, we were able to infiltrate all aspect of Verosian life and take control of it. Soon our reach will extend to the lands outside of Verosia." The skinny cultist added.
"Excellent, my profits will grow once we expand the borders of our empire." The tall cultist cackled with glee. "I've heard some good things about the women in Reborn and Aevium; perhaps I'll take a few trophies home for myself…"
"Better save some for the rest of us, you horndog!" The fat cultist playfully punched his comrades' arms, chuckling heartily.
"Our needs of the flesh can wait a little longer, we still need to dispose of any remaining enemies of the Cult." The stocky cultist interjected. "Like those Angels of Aevium that our brother so kindly reminded me of."
"Those Angels wouldn't dare touch us; they have no idea what life in Verosia is like." The skinny cultist pointed out. "They'll last a few days here, before getting reduced to out disposable cum dumpsters."
"Heheheh, if they're that good, then I might keep 'em around. I'm not one to turn down some free ass." The tall cultist added, his voiced drenched with perversion.
"Now onto a more important topic; our leader is planning on instigating Operation: Mythic Dawn and release the Mythic monsters into the special egg for the strong to power themselves up with. Naturally, he has reserved the strongest specimens for the Cult." The stocky cultist began.
"Ah yes, I've heard rumors surrounding the Mythics from one of the higher-ups; stating that they'll turn the sport on its head with their immeasurable power." The skinny cultist commented.
"I won't rest until I have all the Mythics; my monster collection shall be the greatest in the empire!" The tall cultist declared, his eyes filled with an intense greed.
"Better prepare to spend big time; I heard that these Mythics are going to be very rare." The fat cultist reminded his comrade, as a timer started buzzing on the watch of the stocky cultist.
"Ah, is that the time already? My brothers, we must head back to ZTECH; our leader wishes to see us." The stocky cultist called out, with the four cultists hopping off their chairs and proceeded to exit the room.
Wow, talk about an amazing start. We got to see Melia and her friends kick ass, and they were given a mission unlike anything they've ever had before. Once this fic is done, I might write another Angels of Aevium story depending on how well this one does. As for who the villains are? Well you'll have to find out in the next chapter.
