A/N: Hello, readers! Here I have a new segment called Time Troubles. I based the whole plot on a relationship that's 'so wrong, yet so right', and time's the main antagonist. I hope some of you would be able to relate though.

Chapter 1: The Start

September 8

Dear Reader,

Today's the first day of school which I just transferred to. I'm officially a Freshman. (Yay?) I'm not really sure about what's going to happen, but what I'm sure about is that I'll be one of the 'typical unnoticed average quiet girl sitting by the back corner of the classroom' type. Again. It has always been like that. I never had any friends in my previous schools. Not long-lasting ones anyway. But that was just fine with me.

I believe it's best you're alone. Nobody could hurt you.

It would be nice to have a bit of a change in this new school, but I wouldn't count on it.

Love, Riza.

"Uh, young miss? Here we are. Central High, just like you told me." The old taxi driver said, shaking Riza out of her reverie.

Riza jumped a bit at his voice, though smiled in return. She capped her pen and tucked it along with her leather black journal inside her knapsack. After hanging the straps over her shoulders and paying the cab fee, she quickly exhaled then exited the cab.

Riza watched as the cab drove away, disappearing from view. Slowly, she turned her body around to stare in amazement at the sight of her prestigious school.

"This is not a school.. This is a mansion," She whispered to herself, unable to take her eyes off the main building.

Dear Reader,

I don't think I can handle being in a school wherein social standing actually matters.

Love, Riza.

Suddenly, Riza heard what seemed to be the school bell ringing, signaling that classes would be starting very soon.

"Hell, I can't turn away now. Like I have any choice." She rolled her eyes at herself whilst running to wherever her classroom was. She mentally scolded herself for not coming earlier so she could search for her classroom within the unbelievably huge campus.

Little did she know that ever since her transferee papers were approved, her life was going to be turned upside down, inside out.

Somewhere in an unknown location within Central High, a raven-haired freshman who was just taking a nap on a bench woke up to the ringing of the school bell. He grabbed the open Psychology book covering his sleeping face and lifted it. He sat upright and slicked back his tousled locks then adjusted his necktie.

"First day of school, and I'm already late. Damn." He sighed and packed up his stuff then proceeded to walk to his designated classroom, ignoring the overly flirty giggles and the seductive looks being thrown at him by the girls he would pass by.

A/N: I intentionally made this first chapter very short, so I would see your reaction about my story/idea before even continuing it. Please review and let me know! I'll be posting the next chapters sometime soon!
