Ruby was in the forest mastering her scythe skills before she went out on the mission Professor Ozpin gave her and her group: Weiss, Blake, and Yang. They were actually doing pretty good in their studies, Weiss studying every time she could, leaving her Royal self and other things behind. Ruby was proud of her and of course the other members too. But today she had gone out to spend some time alone, alone from all the studies, alone from all the people, alone from her memories that struck her every time she held her weapon: Crescent Rose and telling everyone about how she was going to be just like her mother. A Huntress. She skipped 2 years and got here, to Beacon Academy.

"I wonder how my classmates in my other school are doing?" Ruby said looking up at the red trees and into the blue sky. "Well they did respond to my letter i sent them. They must fine"
She kept walking till she reached a cliff, looking over all the trees in that area and into the academy.

"I like this view" She smiled and took out her weapon, slashing it in the air making a few rose petals come out before laughing.

'If someone saw me now, speaking to myself they must think i'm was crazy'
Ruby thought to her self before she heard someone call out her name, in a whisper.

"Ruby...its me..."

Ruby turned around while raising a brow. She looked around but saw no one.
"Who is this?" Ruby held her Scythe tightly.

"You really don't remember me? It's me, your mother ruby"

Ruby frowned trying to hold back tears."Y-you can't be her, you died years ago!"

"It's really me Ruby Rose, your mother who was that huntress"

"Then why don't you show yourself?!" Ruby started to raise her voice "Show yourself and prove that it's really you mom!". A few tears started to run down her face.

"I can't sadly, but you can at least hear my voice right?"

"N-n-no! be quiet! Your not really dead right? your still alive in some hospital right?" Ruby pleaded, a bunch of tears running down her face. "But first tell me, Why weren't you here to see me go through my accomplishments!?" She shouted, crying. "I made it through Beacon but you weren't there! Now i have my team and you were still not here! Tell me why! Why aren't you here when i need you! Can't you see me now!?, im crying over some voice of yours, mom. Why? Why!?". Ruby dropped down, crying, looking at the ground.

"I'm really sorry Ruby, but I at least got to see you once before you went anywhere right?"

"NO! I wanna see the real you! Arms, legs and your face! Why did you leave us!? We were just happy children until you left mom. Until YOU left us..." She continued crying, looking up at the sky.

"I'm very sorry Ruby, but my time is up. Hopefully we'll see our selves in the future again...I love you..." and the voice was gone. All Ruby heard was silence and the ruffling of the trees, her tears still running down he face onto the ground.

"I love you too..." She got up and wiped the tears away, walking back to Beacon hoping for the day she would see her again.
