AN: I'd really like turning this into a story with more chapter than one but my fantasy isn't really showing of it's best sides at the moment... So I'm hoping posting this will get more words flow out of my fingers. So many ideas running through my head but I'm having a problem to write them down in a way that's... readable x)

Chapter: Introduction

***

He was sitting with his feet dangling over the water on the little wooden dock the children used to tie their canoes to. In his hands he held a bright yellow paupo and on his face a strained look painted his features. A still breeze went through his chocolate brown hair and his eyes followed its direction towards the sea and sky lined up in front of him. What he saw was just the usual view over the middle part of the worlds that divided them from each other. For any other islander this wasn't anything of interest, but to Sora it was a reminder of the clinching decision he was to make.

"Dream… or reality?", he said looking from the far left of the horizon to the right. The two shapes of the nearest worlds made him sigh.

To the left he saw the rest of Destiny Islands, the little islet he sat on was a part of the whole island group. The buildings with windows that were still lit up looked like stars from where he sat as they stained the dark blue background. In one of the dark windows his oldest and dearest friend was sound asleep, probably snoring just a little, making her otherwise so girly appearance neutral. Her face was softer than ever with the reddish brown hairstreaks in a delicate mess on her pillow.

The more to the right his eyes wandered the more the sky shifted its color to the slightly orange glow around Twilight town. It was night, therefore the sky wasn't as magical as during the day but Sora always found it rather tingling to look that way no matter the color of the sky just because of the knowledge of what could wait for him there. His other half. The one that got away, the one that never was. The boy sleeping so wild that the covers always fell to the floor was his dreams in the way of him being in them, and him actually being the one who created them, since they were the same. The same but yet so different…

"Dream or reality…", Sora repeated a bit louder this time, his eyes hardening by the thought of making a decision. Maybe I can have both…?
