So for the author's note, I don't really have anything to say to this, except this was really fun to write with a carton of my favorite addiction Ben and Jerry's.

Ginny was laying on the floor with her ankles crossed and swinging as she took bites of ice cream from the carton. Ron and Hermione were holding hands on the plump, tartan sofa, watching the lovely movie intently. Ginny was watching something-or rather, someone-even more intently.

Harry of course had noticed her looking over every once in a while, but while there was a spoon in her hand, there could not be a wand so he felt safe.

But honestly, it wasn't his idea to invite Oliver Wood to last week's party anyway. Actually, Harry wasn't quite sure anyone had officially invited Wood to the party. And it wasn't even a big deal, Ginny just wanted something to be mad about.

Of course, when someone attributes your talent to your family, slight insult can be taken, but Ginny was blowing it way out of proportion.

And there she was, in the corner of his eye, glaring him down. And he decided enough was enough.

"What do you want?" he whispered.

She plopped a large spoonful of Chocolate Therapy into her mouth in response, still glaring at him, with a gaze that would shame Medusa.

"Fine, but if you want to talk about it, we might as well do it now." he whispered more forcefully than

necessary.

"Harry, can you be quiet?" Hermione asked.

He grumbled and nodded yes.

Ginny continued to glare, although it was slightly less intimidating with a spot of chocolate on the tip of her nose. For Harry and his frayed nerves, it was down-right hilarious, the juxtaposed anger on her freckled face with the child-like stain on her nose. He started sniggering at her.

"Harry James Potter. What in Merlin's name is so funny?" she demanded angrily.

Ron looked over and started laughing at her too. Hermione pretended to ignore them for a moment and then couldn't take it anymore. She looked back, saw the little bit of chocolate and continued watching the movie, whacking Ron when he continued laughing. He took the hint and turned around with a stupid looking grin still on his face.

"You've got something on your nose," he said flatly and with a very matter-of-fact tone.

Without breaking eye contact, she took her left hand and wiped it off. She grabbed her spoon again and got another scoop. Harry turned back towards the screen, thinking that would be the end of, since she didn't go for her wand. He should have realized, she didn't need her wand. She had defended herself from her brothers without a wand for eleven years and no magic was necessary.

"Oy, Potter!" she said, getting the poor bloke's attention and a nice target as well. He had no clue what hit him as Ginny catapulted a giant hunk of chocolate ice cream into his face, landing on his bangs and knocking his glasses askew.

He wiped it off his face in one go and stood up. Ginny smiled with her victory, not realizing that the battle had just begun.

He jumped over the side of the chair he had been sitting on, grabbing her and the carton of frozen dairy product. He took a handful and shoved it down the front of her shirt. He got a slap for that later on, but in the moment, she returned the favor, dropping it down his sweater.

Realizing what a waste of ice cream this was creating, Harry grabbed Ginny in a big hug.

She hugged him back, laughing her imagination of the sight of them, covered in chocolate, laughing and hugging. And then she kissed him, and as he grabbed the back her head romantically, he wiped his chocolate hands on her red hair.
