Brook stumbled along the snowy ground, her foot gently touching the fresh new snow, leaving behind a footprint of water. She reached the castle in which queen Elsa lived, and gently touched her small clenched fist to the great oak door and knocked.
Anna rushed towards the door, clumsily slipping on some ice the Elsa had spread across the floor, she reached the door and opened it in a cheery brisk way, stopping only when she saw the young girl that stood before her staring up at her, with ocean blue eyes. The young child spoke in a soft, timid voice, " Is queen Elsa here?".
Elsa smiled as she heard her sister slip clumsily, she giggled, like a child laughs when they've done something naughty, "Good old Anna" she whispered happily. Then she heared her sister's voice rise up along the walls of the many great rooms and halls that were dotted around the castle. She hesitated, sensing the brief pause in her sister's voice, but then called out in her graceful, elegant voice 'I'll be right with you'.
Brook stood awkwardly, standing there with crossed arms, looking very timid and frightened. She looked around the great castle, taking in the beautiful scene that stood around her. Suddenly she saw movement out of the corner of her eye and looked around, she saw queen Elsa, in her stunning ice-clothing. She ran up to her and looked at her with her ocean blue eyes, in a pleading, helpless manner. " Queen Elsa, can you help me?" her small scared voice quivered.
Elsa looked down at the young child, holding a gentle, understanding gaze at her, she kneeled down and looked directly into the little girl's eyes and spoke in a soft, sympathetic tone. "What's wrong child?".
Brook stared at Elsa, and stammered in her small, young voice, "I can't control my powers, they grow harder to control Elsa!".
Elsa heard the wave of panic in the young child's voice, and she stood up and proudly looked at her, smiling at the girl comfortingly. "I trust you were born with this, 'power'?". The young girl nodded, her bright blue hair falling on her shoulders, looking up at her with her still ocean blue eyes once more. "Then let me help you!" She smiled like a child once more, and looked at the young girl taking her small pale hands, leading her up the grand stair case.
Anna watched the two run up the elegant staircase, that once belonged to her parents, she smiled, they'd have loved to see how her and Elsa were doing. Perhaps she could go see Kristoff and Sven today, she smiled happily at the thought of seeing them both made her even more cheerful.
Brook stared at Elsa. "So all I have to do is let it out.." she said wearily, Elsa looked at her and crossed her arms, smiling." If you conceal it, it'll only consume you more. Trust me!" Brook looked at Elsa. "Can you shield yourself off, or.. help me control this. Your power is ice and cold, mine is water, so perhaps If mine gets out of hand... maybe you could freeze it?!"
Elsa let out a blast of shimmering ice from her hands, "Not bad Brook! You're really doing well! now remember to..."
Sven Ran into the icy room that held Elsa and brook, her slipped on the icy, floor and skidded, falling onto the clear transparent floor, face forward.
