Author: Moonylovesme
Rating: G. really not all that traumatizing.
Summary: A near death experiance in the Dursley household and how one Harry Potter deals with it.
Disclaimer: -sob- the gods have not yet granted me the wish of Harry Potter ownership. -sniffle- hence the term fanfic.
Authors Note: Actually based off one of my friend's father's near death experiances and her reaction.
Also -- Review. Please. I love them muchly.
It was a perfectly normal day really. Boy is locked in the room. Boy is let out of the room. Boy goes back in the room. Normal. But the in took a turn for the … well you couldn't really call it 'worse' could you? Actually, while not entirely welcome, it was a nice reprieve fromthe average daily routine. Especially when you're staying with the Dursleys. You can only find so many different ways to walk in and out ofa room, afterall.
It all happened at dinner. I had just finished my abnormally small portion of meal when suddenly Vernon started choking. And mind you this wasn't pat-me-on-the-back-and-I'll-be-fine choking. Unfortunately we didn't figure that out soon enough, so before I knew it Uncle Vernon was on the ground twitching. And then he stopped twitching. I think the lack of movement is what caused the ear-splitting shriek to come out of Aunt Petunia, who, for some odd reason, proceeded to run out of the room screaming, leaving Dudley,white-faced and shaking in the corner,to fend for himself.
So here I was staring down at Uncle Vernon, who was lying on the ground looking all together rather dead. Now admittedly I never really cared much about the guy, but if he was dying I didn't just want to sit there and watch it happen. I wanted to do something, even if it didn't work.
So I hit him.
Rather hard too.
I blame it on unresolved anger and familial tension issues. At least that's what the shrink said.
I think I just wanted to hit him.
In any case, He woke up and that's why I'm stuck in this bloody hole-in-the-wall room without food.
Again.
