"Alright, that's it!"
Usagi looked up in surprise at the sound of the angry voice. "Huh? What's wrong, Luna?"
"You complain about your life, how hard school is, how mean Mamoru could be. Well, sister, you don't know what it's like to have a hard life!"
"What?"
"You heard me!" Luna's hackles were actually raised, and she was practically hissing in her annoyance. "You think your life is hard? Try being a cat!"
"Er… Huh?"
"You don't know how hard it is to be a cat!" Luna continued her tirade. "You have to always keep your nails precise! Too short and you end up falling when you try to jump. Too long and you'll get thrown off the couch for destroying the upholstery!"
Usagi didn't know whether to laugh or feel bad. "Uh… Luna?"
"And let's not forget the problem about the tail. Do you know how hard it is to run with that thing stuck to you? It's all I can do to not trip over my own tail!"
"Luna?"
"Don't even get me started on the hairballs! Do you even know how gross it feels like to cough those up? They're…"
"Luna!"
"What?!"
Usagi laughed and then grabbed Luna and hugged her, despite the cat's struggling and repeated "Geroff me! Geroff me!"
"I do love you, Luna," Usagi giggled. "Feel better now?"
"Hurmph," was all Luna could say, turning her back on her.
Usagi laughed again. "Alright, let's go for a walk. And I'm sorry about complaining to you earlier."
"You should be."
"I'll give you a treat to make you feel better," Usagi wheedled.
Luna looked at her then. "Only if it's catnip. And yarn. And maybe some kibbles," she sniffed.
Usagi laughed again.
