Black clouds are behind me- I now can see ahead.
He stood on top of St. Bartholomew's, his hand outstretched toward John.
John- what a revolutionary man. The man who could change everything with a word or two.
Sherlock choked back his tears, swallowing with every breath. It was so strange, how willing he was to die for John. Obviously, he wasn't actually going to commit suicide, but deep down, he knew that he would- just to save John.
Sherlock pushed and pushed for John to believe he was a fraud- but to no avail. John wouldn't have it. Oh, you idiot- can't you realise it makes things harder?, he thought.
John. John. No more mornings of the doctor pushing for him to eat, nor any more cases with ridiculous names on his blog. He gripped the phone tighter, his already pale knuckles turning even more pale with the tremendous force almost crushing the phone.
"Goodbye, John."
He flicked the phone aside.
The air was coming out of his lungs in great whoosh noises. Oh, how he longed to scream to John those two simple words that he had been aching to tell him since they had met. John.
I'm sorry. Things will get better.
He sucked in a deep breath. He leaned forward, his arms stretched out.
