PROLOUGE _
"TRISTYN!" I heard my mother yell from the living room, "TRISTYN! WAKE UP!"
Right, like I was going to get out of bed at 5am.
"SHUT UP!" I yelled half heartedley, lazily lolling to the side.
"TRISTYN, I HAVE A LETTER FOR YOU! COME HERE!"
Maybe, I thought, If I ignore her, she'll give up.
"DON'T MAKE ME COME UP THERE!" she screeched. I lazily rolled off of the side of the bed, crashing into the floor, fully intending to lay there for the rest of my life, completley un-fazed, bilssfully unaware of-
"TRISTYN! FIVE, FOUR THR-"
"I'M COMING!" I lazed, tiredly. Jeez, my mother was such a pain. I stumbled down the stairs, crashing into the wall a few times. My mother waited at the bottom of the stairs, pursing her lips as I tripped over the final stair.
"Good, you're up." she looked pleased with herself. I saw that she was gripping a letter with an official looking seal on it.
"What d'you have there, mum..." I said suspiciously.
"It's a letter for you, Trist," she said, a large smile plastered on her face. I quickly yanked the letter from her clutches, and took a deep breath. I took the letter opener from mum's other hand, and used it to open the seal.
"Is this some sort of sick joke?" I sneered, "Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry...like there's such a thing." I read and re-read the letter numerous times, the words never really sinking in. My mum looked unconcerned, and unfazed by the letter that she had just handed me.
"I'm...going to...hogwarts?"
