alea iacta est - the die has been cast.

"Don't be so shy," Seto chuckled, leaning back into the flakey bark of the enormous oak tree with a contented sigh. The shimmering spring air beside him quivered slightly, and he could feel the soft, cold breath of Mary tickle his flesh as she bent down onto her knees to sit on the grass, transparent hand running through the flowers upon the hill. "You can just ask…you know I'll always say yes, Mary."

"…It's fun surprising you," the girl muttered, tossing her long, fluffy locks of white hair around. They land on Seto's lap, but of course, he can't feel it. He can't feel anything about her, and he can barely see her, but he loves her all the same. "A-are you sure you don't mind?" His tranquil laugh floats around on the flowery zephyr again, and the ghost blushes, turning away.

"Of course I don't," Seto whispered. "Mary, you…you didn't get to live long. And if taking over my body gives you joy and the feeling of being alive, then I wouldn't even mind if you possessed me for the rest of my life." Her eyes widened.

"N-no, I couldn't do that! I'd lose you…" Mary murmured. He beamed at her and raised his hand to where he should've been able to feel the crown of her head.

"Don't get all sad on me," Seto chimed with a wink. "Now, how about you and I go down to the city? I hear there's some cotton candy!" Like none of the conversation had even been uttered or thought of, Mary's eyes brightened and twinkled with a faint light that Seto could catch through her faint appearance. She dived into Seto's body, giggling with him once she'd gained control, hopping up off the grass and racing wildly for the center of the city.

"Imagine Person A of your OTP is a ghost. Person B occasionally allow Person A to possess their body to feel alive again."
