A/n: Minuit is a NZ band, and I think if you haven't heard it you should find it. It's very cool. ;) I saw them live. This is really short, I know.

I didn't even know she had an ipod. I'd never seen her with it before, but there she was... sitting on the park bench bobbing her head along to music that only she could hear. The white cords hung from her ears in stark contrast against the black of her top.
"'Morning Bones," I said and sat next to her. Rubbing my hands together to keep them warm. "'Morning Bones," I repeated, a little louder this time. She flinched and turned to me, pulling the earphone closest to me from her ear.
"Oh... it's you," She looked straight ahead again, her cheeks tinged pink. I wasn't quite sure what from though; maybe it was the cold.
"What're you listening to?" I asked, picking up the forgotten earphone. She just glanced at me, and shrugged.
"You won't know it," she told me.
I placed the earphone in my ear, and listened for a while. I watched her fingers twitch slightly every now and again, I could tell she was aching to tap them to the music. It was sort of strange, techno, or rock... or alternative I couldn't tell. It was a real mixture. Not quite what I expected her to be listening to.
"I give, who is it?" She rolled her eyes.
"I knew you wouldn't know them." There was a pause and I wondered if she was even going to answer me. "They're a New Zealand band. Minuit, it's french for-"
"-midnight, I know." He listened to another song, and found that he liked it too.
He's as suave as sin
"So how did you start listening to this?"
"I googled Minuit," she stated simply.
"But why would you google that?" He asked, a puzzled expression on his face.
"Research," she said.
"Okay you're frustrating the hell out of me. Just give me a proper answer."
"I am," she insisted; but she still wasn't looking at me.
"What's going on with you today?" I pulled the earphone from my own ear, and then crouched in front of her, removing hers as well. She tried to avoid my eyes, but found it impossible with me right in front of her.
"Please," she whispered. "Just move back." She pushed my shoulder half heartedly. I watched her lick her lips, and felt a little dizzy. I noticed her breathing become shallow, and I leant forward. I heard the sharp intake of breath, but she didn't move away. I was dying to run my tongue along her bottom lip, I was close enough; but I resisted, leaning back away from her I got to my feet.
"I guess - I guess I'll see you tomorrow." My voice broke half way through, and I quickly made my way back to my SUV. What the hell was that? I was with Cam, I couldn't have feelings for Bones... Could I?
The End
