It was a rainy day at Hogwarts and Bellatrix was sitting under her favorite tree at the shore of the Black Lake. All of a sudden Rodolphus Lestrange sat down beside her seeking shelter beneath the leafy branches of the tree.

"Lestrange." She greeted her fellow Slytherin coldly.

"Black." He answered smirking slightly. They sat in silence for a moment and watched the raindrops hit the lake.

"Do you have a date for Hogsmeade this weekend?" He suddenly asked, surprising her greatly.

"I don't see how that's any of your business, Lestrange." She sneered. He chuckled grimly.

"Well, I was thinking of asking you, but if I'm not wanted…" He trailed off and prepared to stand up.

"Well, I don't want to go with you." She said with distaste.

"Thought so." He smirked. "I'll just ask Amelia."

"Amelia Travis?" Bellatrix's eyes opened in bewilderment. "The mudblood?" It was a well known fact that Rodolphus despised mudbloods and muggles so it was a shock to find out he wanted to date one.

Rodolphus nodded still smirking. 'That will tick her off.' He thought.

Bellatrix fell into his trap and she said angrily. "You're going to date a mudblood?" That's despicable! You'll disgrace your family name. And she doesn't even look good." She ended, angrily tugging at her green tie and her eyes seeing red.

He wanted to ask her if she was jealous but decided not to, she would hex him badly.

"I find her very beautiful." He shrugged and stood up. "For a mudblood at least."

Bellatrix's face was angry.

"Late, Black." He walked into the rain whistling. 'Three, two, one and…'

"Fine, I'll go on a date with you." He turned around to face her. She had also moved into the rain and her hair was dripping already. He smiled widely at her. She grunted and moved past him, walking fast up the hill that lead to Hogwarts.

"Meet me in the Great Hall at 11 a.m." Rodolphus yelled at her back, smirking arrogantly.
