She flies across the land with wings of blue
From dawn 'til dusk, her rainbows shining bright
She feels her life is turning black and white
The other ponies never even knew

At night her light shall fade away to gray
The storm rolls in, and never does it leave
Her loneliness forms tears upon her sleeve
She tries to cling to hope and find a way

The darkened clouds give rain when pain is nigh
She wishes for the day she can elope
But mocking rain will wash away her hope
Each drop that falls, her colors fade and die

The rainbows dull and shadows take their place
Her sorrow she no longer has to face
