Temptation
There are many wonders in this world
Both big and small, miraculous and such,
Yet there is nothing
That compares to the lovely rose that is
Women.
Their magnificence, their grace, their shape
All the emotion, bottled up inside and dives
To the pit of your stomach
Feel it…?
Everyday you will see her,
Standing just outside the crimson bakery;
Seeming out-shining the midmorning sun.
You freeze, paralyzed by her beauty
You feel lunch slowly lurch up to the
Back of your throat
We know you want to move, to talk to her,
To feel her,
But you can't, you know you can't
The feeling's overwhelming
Then you walk toward her,
And you know,
And we know,
That you have given in to
Temptation.
