It was raining outside on the streets of Konoha, a young ANBU female was ringing her hair dry from the sudden downpour. She was bit surprised by the sudden change in the weather. Her nose did not pick up the scent of the rain usually her nose was great at predicting the forecast of the weather, but not this time.
She sneezed a bit, but took note of it as she figured it was sneeze and nothing more. Her dark blue eyes scanned the now foggy streets as steam was lifting from the ground. The red triangles under her eyes crinkled in annoyance, she should be home already making dinner.
She sneezed again and hugged herself, her bare arms shivering from the sudden cold. Her skin felt a bit icy and Goosebumps appeared on her pale skin. Cursing herself once more and sneezing again, she got up and began pacing back and forth.
Why didn't she grab a jacket before she left? Sure she didn't smell the rain but that didn't mean she shouldn't be prepared. She continued her pacing and ignoring her pounding head that was interrupting on her right lobe. She should have been prepared why wasn't she?
She sat down again when her mind couldn't take the pounding anymore and ground abit after another sneeze. Her mind different back to dinner and curious if her lover was making dinner tonight, or had he noticed that she hadn't come home yet. She closed her eyes when her version became hazy.
"I don't need this," she sneezed. She knew what she had but didn't have time for it. She sneezed again and held her head aching head. Who the hell had time for a cold? She wondered closing her eyes she had to hide it from him…Sasuke Uchiha.
She glanced up when she felt something warm cover her shoulder, looking she saw that it was Sasuke. He was holding an umbrella as he stared at her. His cheeks slightly red and one hand in his pocket he mumbled, "I tired making dinner Taraka, but you didn't come home.
Taraka had to hold back a laugh as she wrapped Sasuke's coat around her some more taking in the welcoming heat. He would never admit he was worried.
"I am sorry," she whispered her voice sounding horsy.
Sasuke raised an eyebrow and sighed picking her up bridal style still holding on the umbrella, "you better be," he was hiding his worry about her cold and held her closer happy she was home, "Let's go home,"
Taraka closed her eyes and leaned her head on Sasuke's warm muscular shoulders, taking in his fresh forest scent. Suddenly she didn't mind having a cold, as he carried her back to their place. Yeah their place always sounded nice.
