A snake. It kept appearing in my dreams. But it was quickly chased away by two lions. One would always follow it, the other would pad over and sit by me. He always let me run my fingers through his mane. He was so beautiful. I always wake up when he licks my face, gets up, and pads away to join his brother. I never quite understand these dreams. I can't go to my family, they'd probably freak out and beat me to death again, then leave me bleeding on the floor to fend for myself. They'd be waking up soon. I quickly got up off the floor and ran to pack my things to go to Hogwarts. I'm so excited! I've never been there before, even though I'm twelve. Dumbledore heard I went to Beauxbatons, so he transferred me to Hogwarts. I'm not sure why, but he seemed to be plotting something. I've only met him once, and that was for about two minutes. He has this glint in his eye that told me he was doing this for a good reason. I smiled and looked over my things, making sure I had everything. One of my shirts was moving. "Snippit!" I laughed. Snippit poked his teeny head out from under my cloth shirt and stared inquisitively at me. I giggled and picked him up. Snippit was my pet rat who I came across walking past a dumpster. He looked hurt, so I brought him home and helped him. He was missing a bit of his tail from when a dog chased him down an alleyway and bit his tail, or so I assume, because rats can't talk. I made sure I had everything (again), and grabbed it all, put it in my case, and ran out the door with it. I grabbed my broom, jumped on, and flew as high as I could (so muggles wouldn't see me), and flew away from my house with everything I owned. I'm getting out of there, and never coming back. Hopefully, if I made friends, I could stay at one of their houses all summer. I was going to Kings Cross Station, never to return to the vile place I grew up. Hopefully.
