She knew better than to pick it up. Really, it was so obvious; she had to hold back a laugh. She wasn't even hungry, but she knew a bait when she saw one. Letting out a sigh, she goes on ahead and grabs it, waiting for some kind of electricity to zap her or a net to fall on her. Swirling around, she eyes all her surroundings, yet nothing popped up at her. Raising an eyebrow, she eyes the apple, and takes a bite out of it, shrugging. Maybe not, she muses as her shoulders droop in somewhat disappointment, expecting something.

"Waiting for me, dear?"

Glancing behind her shoulder, she spots the brunette leaning against the doorway, a slight smirk on her lips.

"Regina. You failed." The blonde motions to the room, free of traps or nets or fireballs.

"Oh did I?" Her eyes drop to the apple and Emma feels a shiver.

"You wouldn't."

"Are you sure?" She keeps asking, eyes twinkling in amusement.

"Shit. Oh come on, that wasn't part of the rules."

"I don't follow the rules dear," Regina tsks and steps into the room, strolling towards the blonde. Emma takes a step back, the apple crunched in her hand.

"Yeah. Neither do I." Emma instantly takes a step forward, slightly surprising the brunette as she clasps her into her hold, the apple instantly forgotten as she drops it to the floor and she pulls Regina into a kiss.

Letting out a noise, the brunette pushes away from Emma, eyes flashing dangerously. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

"Just covering my bases. If that was poisoned, you're coming down with me." Emma replies with a smug grimace.

"Idiot." Regina hisses. "IT wasn't poisoned."

Emma stares at Regina. "What?"

"I was teasing." The brunette huffs, running a hand through her hair.

"oh. Well then." Coughing, Emma makes up some excuse about paperwork and stumbles out of the room, blushing wildly.
