I DO

"There is nothing words can say
On this our wedding day" (BeeGees)

Sirius was crying when Remus came into to check on him. He was sitting on the counter, his eyeliner on the floor, face buried in his hands. "Sirius what's wrong?" Remus asked, picking up the eyeliner and setting it next to his friend.

"I was doing my eyes and I messed up." Sirius said. He lifted his head.

Remus smiled. "It's just a little off, Sirius." He picked up a washcloth and turned on the faucet. "Calm down, Padfoot." Remus gently began to wipe at Sirius face. "It's okay."

"I'm scared." Sirius said.

"Of course you are. You never would have messed up on your make-up otherwise." Remus teased. Then he grew serious. "There's nothing to be afraid of. You and James are going to be happy together."

"Are we rushing into it?" Sirius asked.

"You've been dating for five years." Remus pointed out. "I don't think so."

James was crying when Lily came in to check on him. "James, what's wrong?" she asked as her friend hastily wiped at his eyes with a handkerchief. "James?"

He shook his head. "Nothing. I'm fine." He took off his glasses and splashed some water on his face.

"Stop it." she scolded, grabbing a handtowel and patting him dry. "It's your wedding, James. You're more than welcome to cry."

"Sirius is the one who's supposed to cry." James said, cracking a smile.

"You're silly." Lily said. "Remus cried at our wedding."

James grinned. "I always said you were the one with the balls in the relationship."

"I cried too." Lily said.

James laughed and kissed her.

James knocked on Sirius' door. "Babe?" he asked. "Open up."

"Go away." Sirius said. "You can't see me before the wedding. It's bad luck."

"Is not." James said. "It's bad luck to see the bride in her wedding dress. You're not wearing a dress now, are you, Siri?"

"I don't care." Sirius said. "You're not seeing me before the wedding. Tough luck."

"You're a bastard." James said.

"No, my parents were married by the time I came along, thank you." Sirius shot back.

James groaned, threw his hands on the hair, and left.

When the doors opened, Sirius stood there, looking beautiful, gorgeous . . . amazing. Remus handed James a handkerchief.

Sirius laughed as Mrs. Potter walked him down the aisle, then gave him a kiss on the cheek and went to sit with her husband. He stood in front of James, a smile on his face and tears in his eyes.

'I love you.' Sirius mouthed.

James smiled through his tears. 'I love you, too.' he mouthed back.

"You cried." Sirius whispered into his boyfriend's ear as they shared the first dance.

"You were crying, too."

"Only because you're beautiful." Sirius replied.

"Why do you think I was crying?"

There was a pause. "I love you, James."

"I love you, too, Sirius. I love you, too."
