In town called Royal Woods, there lived a house that is lived by a family with 11 children's, and the house is known to be called the Loud House. Everyday is nothing by chaos in the this family. No one knows how the two parents is able to contend the children's behavior in the house. Each children has their own ways to spread chaos all over the house. But there's one that's more spooky and creepy in the entire family, and that child is an eight year old girl called Lucy Loud. She's basically the dark one of the family. Dressing all goth like, loves the dark, into vampire things, loves writing poems, and secretly loves reading a pony book series. One day, she plans to head off with her own friends to talk to undead with the ouija board that she secretly owns without her family knowing. As she leaves her room and is about to go through the front door, her roommate and also her older sister who's into sports Lynn, burst through the front door.

Lynn: Jump strike!

She lands right in front of Lucy who shows no signs of emotions to Lynn's surprise.

Lynn: Oh, hey Luc. Whatca doin? You head out somewhere?

Lucy: Well, I'm spending a night at Haiku's. So don't expect any startles me tonight.

Lynn: Okay. Have fun and don't let the Master of the Monado haunt you.

Lynn said to her younger sister in a spooky tone.

Lucy: Sigh. You know that the tales of that isn't true.

Lynn: Oh I know. Like, how you don't believe in vampires and zombies.

Her sister says in sarcasm. Lucy, now annoyed by her jock sister, walks out of the house and heads her way to her friends house.

As she arrives at the place. She thought to herself about the legends of the demon that wields a sword that it's describe in legends as the Monado. It's said that the blade is able to cut the most toughest armor in any worlds and consume the life's of any souls that dares come across the demon. It's also known that it's power also has the ability to use different types of arts to use in fights. Lucy wonders if this demon could have been a long time entity that punishes those who try to mess with supernatural powers or probably, has another purpose. She thought to herself.

Lucy: You know, if the legends says that it suppose to be a awful settlement to those who encounter with the entity. Maybe I can get it to be expressive towards us.

Lucy then gets an idea of what she and her friends are doing.

A few moments later, after arriving at the grave yard, where they plan to do there ritual to summon and talk to the undead that still remain on earth. With four kids with them, everyone started debating whether to just make any offering or just speak to the spirits.

Calom: I say we we give a traditional speaking towards it.

Vlad: I can along with that.

Haiku: I agree. Lucy?

Lucy thought about her own idea but also had a hunch that her friends would hesitate on her idea.

Lucy: Uh, yeah, we should, but, I was thinking we could umm.

Her friends starts wondering what she's thinking of.

Calom: What? Thinking of what?

Vlad: Yeah, what is it?

Lucy tries to build enough courage to tell her friends of the idea.

Lucy: Ok. You know the legends of the so called demon that posses the sword called the Monado.

At that point, all three of Lucy's friends both stared at each other giving the sight surprise on each other's faces before turning back to Lucy.

Haiku: Lucy, you're not seriously thinking that...

Lucy: Yes.

She said emotionless.

Calom: Are you kidding?! I don't think I wanna do that? No one knows what happens if you ever try to talk to it?!

Vlad: Yeah, I mean, no one even knows if it's a sight for humans to see.

Haiku: And, I don't think it would mind taking our souls. As much as I like talking to the dead, I don't want to have my souls taken from them.

Lucy: But how do we know it's not just a legend?

The others also question that too before responding back.

Vlad: Yeah, we... don't know?

Lucy: We won't know unless we give it a try?

Haiku: But, if we do it, and if it's real, and not a kindred spirit. We may be setting ourselves up for death.

Every including Lucy worried about it, but now that there curiosity is getting to them, they all seem to want to try it.

Calom: All right, let's do it! But if it wants one of our souls, I say Lucy gives her's since this is her idea.

Vlad: I actually want to see it too.

Haiku: You got my vote.

Lucy smiles as they all prepare everything for the ritual.

With every thing ready, they all began to call out the demon of the Monado.

Lucy: Here us oh great Demon of the Monado, come forth to our settlement and join our ritual of your honor.

With a few minutes passed, they all wonder if their calling to it has reached it.

Vlad: Do any of you feel any presents?

They all shake their heads in response of no. Haiku decides to ask, if it's here with them.

Haiku: Oh spirit, are you here with us now?

The group wait for as long as they can think, until fifteen minutes passes with nothing coming around. They all start to wonder if the legends of the Monado Demon is just a myth.

Calom: Nothing. Well Lucy, that answers your question. It's not real.

Vlad: Well, now that it's out of our way, I'm gonna start preparing a different ritual for a another soul.

Haiku: I guess legend or just legend. Right Lucy?

Just then, Lucy surprisingly cries out.

Lucy: Wait, look!

Everyone turns their attention to the board to see the pad is slowly moving towards the 'yes' on the board. Everyone becomes surprised that the spirit is with them. Lucy begins to ask it a another question.

Lucy: Spirit? Are you, who what we mortals call, 'Spirit of the Monado'?

In a short moment, the pad slightly moves on the 'yes' meaning that, the legends of the Monado is true. They all gasp as the spirit they are talking to is here with them. They began to ask it question of, how did it died, the sword itself, can it fight, ect. Lucy then ask it.

Lucy: What's your purpose of being a sword wielding demon?

It responds back by, "I keep those who try to talk to the undead to offer their bodies to the mortals." The group is in belief as it responds with that answer.

Vlad: It's true. It does keep us from talking to demons.

Soon, the pad moves to make another response to the group saying, "Why, why would you all summon me here?" The group starts getting a little scared of it asking them a question.

Calom (nervously): Well, uh it was our friends idea.

Then the demon response, "Why do you children even uses these rituals to talk to demons?" And again it's asks, "Why do you does all the time?!" They all are shocked to find out that the demon knows that they've been doing this for a lot of time.

Haiku (nervously): Well, w-we just want to help those souls find there peace!

At that moment, the area around them starts turning into a distorted background as they all are starting to freak out. They all start wanting to end their conservation with the mad spirit but not until it's last response said, "I must eliminate those who try to reach those spirits that are trying to get to mortals hearts! I well show myself to you!" And with that, the board and pad get destroyed as the kids are terrified of everything happening around them until, a black hole emerges from the ground and they all look at it. Soon, a red violet being emerges from it and looks at the children's, who are shaking in fear of it with tears in their eyes. The demon looks at them with it glowing blue eyes before responding in a British echoed voice.

Demon: So, you all love to talk to the dead? Well, you're meeting one for the first time? How is it?

Non of them had the courage to say anything as they were to nervous to say anything to it. The demon talks some steps forward to the children as it asks them.

Demon: Do you think it's fun? To speak to the undead? Do not realize the dangerous potential of what a demon or a ghost could have? No, you do not. You're all insignificant. Especially you, Lucy Loud.

Lucy is in shocked as the demon spoke to her.

Demon: You actions of talking to me is stand able. And for that, I must do my dignity, and kill you all!

In that moment, the demon reach out his arm and a sword forms into his hand and draws up. The sword shows to be a red colored designed with blue streaks around it with a hole in the center and blue static with a blue blade forming the sword. The sword they see is what the legends called, the Monado itself. At that moment, the center of the Monado shows a symbol to where the demon swings, creating three beams towards Lucy's friends and captures them except Lucy. They all start panicking and screaming as they are trap in net like beams as they are brought towards the demon. Lucy, in panic, asks the demon.

Lucy: What are you going to do with them!

Demon: I will destroy their souls as you watch them burn. As punishment, for playing with the undead.

Lucy: No please! Don't kill them!

Demon: I'm sorry my child, but I have to. And, I also must take your family's souls too, you paid the price of talking to the Demon of the Monado. And now, there must be... Judgment!

Lucy, now in full terrified and crying for not only her friends, but also family stakes that they are also getting there souls killed by the demon.

Lucy: Noooo! Please! I beg you, don't kill them! Please! I'll do anything for their safety! Anything!

Lucy sobs to herself as she falls in her knees crying about everything that's happened to her friends and family. She looks up at the demon and quietly ask it again.

Lucy: P-p-p-please, I'll do anything! Please, just spare my friends and family's life's.

The demon pauses for a brief moment before looking back at Lucy, he places his sword down and walks towards Lucy as she still continues to cry much more. As he reaches her, Lucy draws her her head up to his as they look at each other directly.

Demon: Do you really wish to risk your own life for theirs and your family?

Lucy nods her head with tears streaming down her face.

Demon: Very well.

At that moment, Lucy is surprised to hear him spear her friends and family's souls for her own. He releases her friends and opens up three black holes and sends them into it. Once then, he closes the portals and draws back to the young eight year old who is wondering what he did to them.

Demon: Do not worry. They're not dead. I send them back to your world. Now do you really wish to pay your price of your actions, Lucy Loud.

Lucy: Yes. If you want my soul, you can have it. But please don't take any my friends and family's souls too.

Demon: I won't. But I won't kill you, instead I will curse you.

Lucy begins to be afraid of what curse the demon will place upon her.

Demon: What I will do is, I will kill you, but I revive you into something, different. I will replace your heart with an element crystal, that has it's power, that it will be your new heart. You will be something different to all of your kind, something that I will call, a Blade. You life force will be extended longer than the other humans, the crystal will change your appearance when it becomes your new life. The crystal will give you it's power along with a weapon you will have to use in a battle of weapons. However, you must close off this power to anyone. No one must find out about this power. Not your friends or your family. And the crystal can be damaged if it's strike directly at your chest. And you must not use your powers too much, otherwise you could potentially become to wiry or likely drain your life. And, with every element comes a weakness, you must be aware of your crystals weakness because it well effect your body when exposed to it. And I expect you to not use this power for your own selfish purposes or for revenge. If you do so, I well extinguish your life if you do. Do you now understand everything.

Lucy sniffs and wipes away the tears from her face in response off.

Lucy: Yes. I do it.

The demon grabs his Monado and actives another symbol on it as he ready's himself to strike Lucy.

Demon: You are set? Once I do this, you wake up tomorrow morning into a Blade. Your friends will have no memory of the events that happened tonight and your family will see the same way as always. But you will know everything about me and you must keep my tales as a secret for your new life, otherwise you will face your judgement. You set?

Lucy: Yes!

At that time, the demon trust his sword, as Lucy closes her eyes behind her bangs as she braces for the slice. In an instant, Lucy felt a powerful sharp slice in her heart as she felt it sliced out of her body. She collapsed on the ground as her vision starts to blur out with hear earring fading out as well. The last thing she saw was the demon revealing his true appearance to be a teenage boy with blonde hair and blue eyes, his skin looked teal like with red armor around his body. And his last words to her was, "I'm sorry, but I forgot to introduce myself, My name... is Shulk."

Lucy black out for a while until she heard a familiar voice in her thoughts as she awakens in her and Lynn's room with her sister skating in their room with some of their siblings lining up for the bathroom. Lynn sees her sister awaken.

Lynn: Morning, Lucy.

Lucy looks around to see that she's in her bed as her other big sister Leni looks at her confused.

Leni: Lynn, who's this girl sleeping in Lucy bed?

Lucy is confused of what her sister said.

Lucy: What?

Lynn response to her ditzy sister.

Lynn: Leni, that's Lucy. She just got a new look.

Those words were enough for Lucy to realize what Leni was so confused about.

Leni: Oh right. I tots forget about Lucy's new makeover. We're still trying to get used to it.

Lucy also heard the word "makeover" which made her anxious about her new look her sisters keep saying.

Lynn: Yeah, I'm still trying to get used to it. Anyway, if you're planning to use the shower Luc, get in line.

With Lynn out of the room, Lucy got out of her and closed her door as she walked back looking at her body to see that it's still the same as always, until she looked at the mirror and gasped as she saw herself, looking different from before.
