Disclaimer: I don't own Grey's… sadly… I'm still hoping
Summary: He was her knight in shinning armor, her prince charming.
A/N: Eeek! Is it Thursday already?!
I thought about making a Grey's Anatomy fic. Ha! Isn't that a miracle?! Thinking about making it a multi-chap fic…
Review please (:
He was her knight in shinning armor, her prince charming and in return, she was his princess (although he really doesn't have the balls to call her that to her face). She sat at the gurney avoiding Dylan and Denny who were standing there smiling at her denial of death. In all honesty, she didn't want to be dead. She didn't like to be dead. She had her whole life still ahead of her! She still had her friends, her boyfriend and the internship she has yet to finish, and she still had her mother who no matter what she did would still be her mother.
"Mere…"
Derek's voice. She heard it in her head and wondered why. Is this why people talk to the dead? Because they could actually hear?
"Mere…"
There it was again, Derek's voice.
"Derek," came out her soft reply.
"Mer…"
This time, it was Cristina's voice.
"I have a secret…"
Cristina's voice started.
"I'm marrying Burke… And… I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner…"
Meredith smiled as her eyes were closed her face relaxed. She wanted Cristina to continue although she didn't want to try and talk. She knew that Dylan and Denny would just think she's weird in doing so.
"I believe in you Mer… I believe that you'll pull through it…"
Izzie. Her roommate and the perky blonde cheerleader pretty girl person that she couldn't live without. It was a nice feeling that someone believed in her. Nice feeling that she wasn't invisible like she thought and suspected she was.
"…Don't die now…"
George. The man who's heart she broke those months ago. The man who he treated as a best friend. The one who was always there as a crying shoulder. One of the most sensitive men she had ever met.
"You're too dark and twisty to die Grey…"
Alex. The Evil Spawn with the sweet side, which he chose not to show to anyone but those who he chooses. He was a great friend to talk to. He was the one that understood her and didn't judge her for her actions—well he did. But he didn't do anything to put her down by it for he did the same. If she were a guy, she would be an Alex. That's what she concluded once before.
"…You can't give up now Meredith…"
Addison? Why was Addison talking to her as well? They never really saw eye-to-eye. Well, they did by conflicting each other's life but as friends? She was friends with Callie and Meredith…She was just an acquaintance…
"Derek needs you… Everyone needs you…"
Derek… Cristina…Izzie…George…Alex… Meredith rose from the bed and looked at the two men who was staring at her with that content and peaceful smile on their faces that made her puke. She was dark and twisted! She couldn't take those smiles!
"Can I come back?" she asked them both. She had too much too loose, too much to gain to NOT try and find a way out of this, and those voices in her head… The ones where her friends were talking to her… She needed to try and get out of this for them…
They have suffered enough in the past months like her, with her. She isn't going to give up on them like they aren't giving up on her…
