Tony really wanted something to eat. Something sweet.

It was half three in the morning but that didn't matter. He and Bruce had spent the last few days working on their latest projects. They were trying to find a way to put sensors in the air-vents without Clint finding and destroying them.

At around two Tony had started to feel hungry. It had taken him over an hour to get Bruce to agree to come and get something to eat. Bruce had been asleep but now they were headed to the kitchen.

Clint hadn't been able to sleep. Part and parcel of being an ex-killer and S.H.I.E.L.D Agent/Avenger. He had trained for a bit but that hadn't worked so he choose to come and bake.

Clint couldn't cook to save his life. The last time he'd tried to cook a meal, for Nat and Phil, he had burnt down the house in which they were hiding.

He could bake though. His mother had taught him how and it reminded him of her. And Clint had been feeling somewhat lonely these past few days. Nat was in Asia, Phil was in Scotland with his team. Fury and Hill wre having a meeting with the President and Prime Minister.

Clint was just finishing off his third batch of cookies. (He hadn't baked anything in the Avengers Tower.) Hearing the door open he looked up. Seeing Tony and Bruce walk in Clint moved to hand them some off the cookies from his first batch.

Tony gladly took the cookies offered. He poured himself some whisky to go with the food. Therefore missing Bruce's look off utter horror.

Clint didn't miss the look. Sensing that the Doctor might be on the verge of a Hulk-Out he put the cookies down and started to back away.

The next day Nat, Phil, Hill and Fury returned to the Tower to find that parts of it were still on fire. Some of the floors were now missing meaning that you could look straight from the top floor to the bottom.

Thor was hiding in one of the few remaining lifts. Steve was hanging off the side of the A, which was still a little on fire. No one knew where Tony was. He turned up a week later still shaking, as if he had only know worked out the strength of the Hulk.

Clint and Bruce were found curled up togther. Covered in uncooked cookie dough.

Apparently the Hulk had a thing for cookies, especially for Clint's cookies.

And that is why you cannot bring those cookies in here. Tony told Jane and Darcy, (when they came up to visit Thor.) Also why Clint isn't allowed to bake unless there is a Code Green.

Darcy threw a box behind her as they made their way to a lift. Maybe bringing cookie hadn't been a good idea.

Especially not as Bruce Banner was standing right behind her.

Bruce Banner really hated cookies.
