She walked on the empty road in the darkness. Her light brown hair felt wet and sticky. The baby blue Summer dress she was wearing was way too cold at this hour. She should have taken her jacket. She hadn't been able to think. All she knew was that she needed to get out of the car and away.

"Did you ever love me?"

It had all went so fast. 15 minutes earlier she had been in the car with him. Seth freaking Rollins to the world. Her boyfriend. The man who scared her more and more for each day that passed. It wasn't always like that. There was a time she felt like he loved her. A time where he swept her off her feet and pulled her in. In hindsight she could see all the warning signs and how he had pushed on for them to move in together really fast. Little by little he had isolated her and stripped her off her dignity.

"Did you ever love me?"

As many times before they had been fighting in the car. He was driving, of course he was, he would never allow her to drive. He was in control of everything. The car, the house, their lives, her. His word was law. What he wanted, he got. And what he wanted this night was another meaningless fight.

"I don't know why the fuck I still put up with your sorry ass when you're flirting with every fucking man I work with. Last week it was Finn, today it was Roman. I should just fucking leave you right here," he said.
"So why don't you?" She asked.
"Oh, you'd like that, wouldn't you?" He sneered.

The slap came so fast that she didn't have time to prepare herself for it. He hit so damn hard but that was nothing new.

"You listen to me, you little cunt! You do what I say when I say it! I'm fucking doing you a favour being with you! No man would ever want you! And I don't fucking blame them! Look at you! Dirty, little cunt!" He spat. "It's gonna be over my dead body if you wanna leave me! Better yet, over your dead body! You don't get to leave me! Ever!"

She had taken those words in, running them through her mind over and over. The silence had been thick in the car for a little while. It felt like an hour but it had probably not even been a minute. He had just said he would kill her if she ever tried to leave him. It should make her scared but she wasn't. She wasn't even surprised.

"Did you ever love me?" She finally asked.
"I've been asking myself the same thing," he said.

She grabbed the steering wheel and pulled it towards herself. The car spun around fast. Even though he tried to pull it back on the road, they crashed into a tree. Her head slammed against the side window and she felt blood run down her face. Her hair got wet and sticky. She looked at him. His head was on the steering wheel and his eyes were closed. She should call someone for help. Instead she opened the car door and stumbled out of the car.

She walked on the empty road in the darkness. When she looked back, she could no longer see the car. She didn't know how long she had walked or where she was heading. At some point someone would drive by and spot the car and all hell would break loose. The world would know Seth Rollins was dead. And the world would know she had been in the car and left him there.

"I have nothing left to give."
