The Girl Who Played With Love
As Katie was still a young girl, she hadn't learnt the rules of love. The rules of love are the most important rules of them all. It is the rule of relationship and all of us. We use love as a fairytale but it is the way that you and me are here this day.

It was a cold and damp Saturday morning. As the sun rose I watched as the tide went out and the birds searched for food. Luckily it is now Christmas Eve so all the family will be coming over and love will be shared. I don't get the point of love; it just seems like an everlasting story that you'll get bored of half way through. My mum and dad say that I'll understand when I'm older but I bet I won't. Mum said she would tell me how her and father met yesterday but she didn't, so that means they don't want me to know.

Today I woke up as early as a bird to open all my presents. As I walked down the stairs I looked at the grandfather clock. I had woken up late, it was 10:00am and all my family were already here. They all gave me slobbery kisses and gave me my presents. I opened them one by one and on each one it said:
To Katie, Merry Christmas! Love from...
I always ask "Why do you write love on my cards because I'm not going out with you!"
All they say is "NEVER MIND Katie!"
