A/N: I'm working on editing "As It Goes" now. I'm also trying to continue it even though Zutara Month is over. This is the fic about when everyone learned they could bend, which will include short bits for Katara, Zuko, and Azula.

Azula was three years old when she sneezed on Zuko. But the sneeze included fire, so Zuko sat with fire blooming on his robes in shock and jealousy. Azula looked at her brother after her eyes opened and laughed. Her tiny unexperienced mind knew one thing, and that was that Zuzu couldn't do that, or control fire at all. She had peeked in on a few times when their father had tried to get Zuko to bend. She laughed at the fact that her blue friends Katara and Sokka couldn't control their element either. She laughed at the fact that had just moved her hands and made the fire on Zuzu bigger. Azula found that that day was quite amusing.

Zuko remembered the day Azula set his robes on fire when he made the fire in the fireplace explode after a particular argument with her. They had been bickering about something insignificant in their parent's room when Azula teased Zuko about bending. Zuko got so mad he made the fire explode. It wasn't a dangerous or even large explosion. It just popped and sent sparks fizzling all over. Ozai easily put out the sparks and he laughed. Azula stood in shock and fury. Zuko was finally triumphant, he had finally done something better than Azula, he had finally beaten her.

Katara was surprised when she made the boiling water spill out of its pot. Everyone in the room was. She and Sokka had just found out that they would be leaving to visit the Fire Nation early that year and Katara was very excited. As a six year old, she was beginning to worry that she wouldn't be waterbender, like Sokka. Her best friends, Zuko and Azula, had discovered their abilities years before her and she was worried that her family would be known as the non-benders to her Fire Nation friends. Luckily for her, she found out that day that she could bend.
