Hello :D
I made this very short one-shot even though I should have been writing the 12th chapter for "Three Words to Choke Upon"... sorry... but any who, I wrote this on my ipod then edited and now I'm posting it for you lovely people to read.
While I wrote this I was listening to "Inuyasha's Lullaby" which I had just recently downloaded and seriously that song/Lullaby/whatever was SO damn -ugh- words cannot describe what that lullaby is. I loved it so much and the entire time I could only think of Inuyasha's relationship with his mother (Izayoi) and it really just made me want to cry.
Yes I admitted that out-loud.
I suggest you listen to it after or while you're reading this one-shot. Unfortunately, links don't show quite well on here so it's on my profile. Just click on it and hear its amazingness.
Once again I just want to say a full-hearted 'sorry' to my "Three Words to Choke Upon" Readers, I know I am taking more then a while but It will most definitely be posted sometime this week and No, I have not and will not leave it unfinsished...
In a way you can take this one-shot as my 'sorry-note' to my TWtCU readers :)
Disclaimer: I own Inuyasha... Any questions? -Men in black suits and briefcases walk in- D}8

Together
...
"Inuyasha" Izayoi pronounced rolling the name on her tongue. She then looked up at the gut wrenching site in front of her; the castle walls quickly burned down taking the great dog demon with it. She watched with horror, her insides felt like they were going to pour out if she opened her mouth to scream to her beloved. She held her newborn tightly against her chest as his crying filled the air. Part of her wanted nothing more but to hush the child and assure him everything would be fine, but the other part of her wanted to wallow up into nothingness until she, herself was assured everything was fine. She forced herself not to cry, not to shed a single tear for her loss but instead to stay strong for the sake of Inuyasha if not herself.
...
Several Years Later…
...
"Inuyasha" Izayoi worriedly called out as said boy not over the age of 7 or 8 came running to her. He looked up at her with his liquid golden orbs filled with curiosity and the slightest bit of pain.
"Mother... What's a …half-breed...?" the child asked as Izayoi looked stunned for a moment, once the question was fully absorbed by her, she gasped and held back tears while pulling her son into an embrace. She had realized this question would have been brought up later if not now but how she had hoped to avoid this question, he didn't deserve it; he had barely even started to live. Seconds later Izayoi found tears running down her cheeks;freely and her body trembled with anger, sadness and agony. She held Inuyasha closer against her, she knew well from the way the villagers treated her that Inuyasha was all she had and she was all Inuyasha had. They would pull through this and become stronger than ever; together and onlyTogether.
He would have wanted this...

And that is it... :(
But I hoped you liked it and I also hoped you heard the Inuyasha lullaby
