Then & Back Again
By SMYGO4EVA
The three books control fate, for all we know. Firstari, a Holy Book that contains the words of awakening, would truly see inside a human's redemption before one suffers in the blackness. Secondari is one book that contains the words of true nature, in its most powerful and twisted distortions. Last, but not least, Thirstari is the final book, one that decides the fate of an individual in the words of truth. All of this seems confusing, but to the gate keepers, their identities as mysterious as themselves, they are as bright as the morning sun.
Fate is a predetermined event, but history takes its course throughout the ever-changing world. History repeats itself, so how can we stop fate? We don't exactly know, but the illusion is there. We can try to reverse the fate that they try to bring upon us; the curses we believed to destroy humankind may as well be our saviors. Madlax, you don't know your real name, do you? You fight and kill supposed bringers of evil and protect the innocent, especially when you have the right to exist.
We all have a right to exist, I believe in that.
You have a true human nature, Madlax. You stay a kind and caring person even after you have killed so many, refusing to live in the soaked bloodstains of every person. Margaret thinks this way too; she called you a kind murderer. Gruesome as it sounds, it's true. You represent the greater good of this world, and you continue to do so, then and back again through the ghastly aspects of war. You can redeem yourself, you can redeem Margaret and you can find your true identity.
