Don't you be holding back your love

She'd had too much to drink; that was clear. The bar in front of her began to blur and float as she tried to focus long enough to order another drink.

"Bartennnnder?" she slurred, clutching her seat for support. The bartender looked at her with amusement before shaking his head at her.

"Miss, I think that you've had enough," He informed her. Sakura tried to remember how to frown and opened her mouth to demand another, when a hand was placed on her shoulder. She jerked in surprise and turned to see Naruto frowning at her.

"H-Hey Naruto-kun!" she chirped happily, and almost fell off of her bar stool. Naruto steadied her before taking in her outfit. The petite young woman was clad in a red bandage dress that was too short for his liking and her sky-high red-bottomed heels did nothing to help keep the dress at an appropriate length.

"Sakura-chan, what have I told you about going out dressed like this with the intention of getting drunk by yourself?" He asked, angrily. Sakura froze at his tone, clearly her best friend was aggravated with her and she knew in her alcohol-induced haze that it was best to tread carefully.

"Oh, Naruto-kun you worry too much, I was fine! M-my –hic- friend was with –hic- with me the whole –hic- time," she protested, pointing at the bartender, who shrugged apologetically.

Naruto resisted the urge to shake her and instead decided it would be best to just take her home where no perverts could ogle her ass in that sinful dress. No one would ever get to see how perky her breasts were as they jiggled because of her careless movements. He mentally shook himself before he reached the point of a cold shower when he got home. It sucked really, how he would always be nothing more than the best friend to her and how he would always want more than she seemed willing to give.

He placed the appropriate amount of money in the bartender's hands and lead Sakura out of the bar. The sad thing was that he knew the exact amount of money that she would spend on drinks because she was such a lightweight. It never took more that twenty dollars for her to get drunk, no matter what drink it was. He was snapped out of his thoughts when she began to struggle.

"No Naruto! Let me go back! I wasn't finished yet!"

He wondered if God was laughing at him right now. How had he been reduced to this? He was the Hokage for Pete's sake! If only granny Tsunade could see him now. She'd probably laugh him out of office.

"Sakura-chan, please don't do this. You know that you shouldn't be drinking your life away in bars every night. You're more than that," he said, trying to pull her to him. The pinkette wouldn't give up her fight and she struggled even more in his arms, mumbling things about "remembering" and "sasuke" and "work."

It hurt him to hear her say that name of that asshole that abandoned and betrayed her. It angered him that she could still think of that bastard, even now when she was in his arms. He clenched his teeth and held her firmly in his arms.

"Don't you dare say his name to me again," He growled, looking her straight in her emerald eyes that were widened in surprise. She was just so beautiful, so angelic even as he reminded himself that she would never be his. He couldn't help himself, he had to know; he pressed his lips against hers. It took her all of five seconds to start responding to the kiss, igniting something that Naruto had resigned himself to thinking was impossible.

Cause in the end girl you're gonna want another round, another round
