A/N: This little drabble is dedicated to my mom. Happy (slightly early) Mother's Day!
Going along the timeline of the Surprises Trilogy, Annabeth would be about five months along with Athene right now. You don't have to read my other stories to understand this one-shot, though. And I do apologize for the Surprises Trilogy. My writing has far excelled since then…
I don't own PJO!
Happy Mother's Day
"Annabeth! Breakfast is ready!"
Annabeth's eyes opened at the sound of her fiancée, Percy Jackson, calling for her. She got up gently, peering down at the rapidly swelling stomach that, just two weeks prior, had been as if a little bun was under her shirt. Now, it looked as though a ball had been stuffed under it!
She smiled, though, gently moving her hand over her belly. At five months pregnant, Annabeth had never been happier. Sure, she wasn't married yet, and Athena was very upset with her, now. But in all reality, Annabeth was happy it worked this way. She had wanted to be a mom since the sixth year she and Percy dated, at age twenty-two. Now, at twenty-five, she had gotten her wish.
"You coming, slow poke?" Percy teased.
Annabeth rolled her gray eyes. "Yes, you dork. Just let me put on some pants, alright?"
"You can leave them off if you want!" Percy called.
Annabeth chuckled. Slipping pajama pants on, she waddled down the stairs, clutching the hand rail.
"Welcome, Miss Annabeth," Percy skidded over to her, grabbing her left hand and kissing it on her ring. "May I escort such a lovely young lady to her breakfast?"
Annabeth smiled. "Perce, what are you doing?"
"Just treating my special girl to a wonderful morning," Percy said. Grabbing Annabeth's other hand, he walked backwards into the kitchen.
Annabeth looked around. "Oh, my," She whispered. "Percy, what have you done?" The small kitchen had a table full of pancakes, waffles, oranges, strawberries, milk, and rolls.
"For you. Mother's day," Percy let go of her hands and placed his on her stomach. Rubbing it gently, he smiled. "You are, after all, a mother."
"Still, you didn't have to go through all of this trouble!"
He shrugged. "It was no trouble, Annabeth. I love you,"
She tilted her head, smiling. "I love you, too."
Percy bent down and kissed her belly. "And I love you, little baby,"
A/N: Daww, sweet fluff! Short, simple, and to the point! Hope you enjoyed!
I love feedback almost as much as Aphrodite loves love!
