"Puny god..." the Hulk muttered before walking off.
Loki could only lay there in pain. Perhaps he had underestimated the raw strength of the green man. He might have taken the time to tweak his plans just a whee bit if he had known a mortal could injure him like this. He groaned in pain.
Footsteps drew his eyes to Thor standing over him. Thor's face was carefully blank, but still pitying. Thor was easy to read as ever.
Loki smiled and laughed, but could only cough. "Have you come to weary me with words yet again, brother? Please do so quietly."
"No, no words this time."
Loki looked at him curiously. Thor swung his hammer around in his hand.
And layed it on Loki's chest.
Loki stared at Mhjoljnir resting comfortably on his chest, pinning him to the ground. Loki couldn't move, could barely breathe as it was, with the great weight on him. Loki felt fear enter him at the realization of what Thor was doing. Desperately, Loki grabbed the hammer's straps and tried to lift it, but it was the vain attempt of a desperate man. He thrashed about, tried to turn and knock the hammer to the side, but the hammer would not move.
"THOR!" Loki barked. "GET THIS OFF ME!"
"Bye, brother." Thor walked out the door.
"THOR!" Loki yelled.
"You, my friend, are one evil bastard." Tony smirked before taking another bite of his food.
Thor shrugged. "He will remove it when he is redeemed on his own."
"Hmmm. We could use one of those. Just think of the uses of Thor's hammer? It could be a test of a man's worthiness to be president."
"No one would ever be president then." Bruce Banner argued.
"I know. Great isn't it?"
Clint pointed his spoon at Tony. "You do realize the problem right?"
"No presidents?"
"Not that. Loki's on the floor of your penthouse until he pulls the hammer off."
Tony paled with his spoon inches from his gaping mouth. He dropped the spoon. "THOR! THAT'S MY PENTHOUSE!"
"You can build a new one."
"Yes, I can. But its the principle of the thing!.. How long can you people live?"
Thor blinked at him as though it was a ridiculous question. "Thousands of years."
"I'll be dead before Loki gets off my floor." Tony realized in horror.
"Look at the bright side." Steven offered. "He'll tell you when someone's at the door."
"That's called a doorbell..."
"Oh."
