It's Maiko again, I'm so happy. This was written for the Royal Family Week - Day 2: Tradition, They're married, and it was a little hard to do this one. Enjoy it, and if you find any mistakes just let me know...

"What are you doing?" she asks scrubbing the sleep out of her eyes

"I'm just trying to find the perfect name for our baby..."

He's at the small table on their bedroom with one lit candle. Discarded sheets of paper spread around him and his robes are stained with ink. It's late, but by the sheets on his side of the bed, she knows that he hasn't even laid yet.

"Isn't it a little too soon to do that?"

She's right. They had just discovered her pregnancy and her belly has barely grown. Even so, the only thing that he had been thinking about lately was baby names. Sometimes he would have to stop mid work to write them down. His office was full of papers with names that came to his mind during diplomatic meetings. And he should probably be sleeping right now, but he couldn't; not until he found a name for his kid.

"I don't care." he says "I'll find one, then I'll go to sleep."

She sighs and stands up from the bed.

"You don't need to worry about it.", he assures her, trying to make her go back to sleep.

"I'll be the one carrying it for the next seven months. And I'll be the one suffering while giving birth", she sits beside him and takes "I guess I have a right to say that I'm not naming my son Zong." she raises an eyebrow at him.

"This one is from the rejected list…" he excuses himself.

"Well, I don't feel tempted to name my daughter Wazuka either…" she says after checking his other list "And I'm not even commenting about the others… Zian, Uzuki, Azusa, Torazo… Seriously, what were you thinking?"

"Yeah, yeah, I know they're terrible" he interrupts her and buries his head in his hands to hide the shame "I can't find one that's good enough…"

"Maybe you could if you tried to think on names without an 'z'"

"I can't do that! It has to have a 'z' in the name. This is almost a tradition in my family!"

She rolls her eyes not only because of his tradition nonsense, but also because she knows he won't let go of his stupid mission. Soon enough he would be asking around for suggestions and losing sleep over them, until he found a name that he liked and she approved, and that had a 'z' somewhere.

"What do you think of the others? Anything you like?" Zuko asks for approval.

Mai scrolls her eyes for the rest of the list. She tries really hard not to show her dislike.

"I think you'll have to try harder…" Mai sighs.

"It must have a z-name somewhere…" he mumbles.
