Beacon Academy.
Home to Huntsmen and Huntresses in training.
People gather around from all over Remnant to enter this school and train to become full-fledged huntsmen to take down Grimm.
Every candidate had a story and each one of them shined one way or another.
And while the story in Beacon revolved around The girl with the Red hood and her team, there was always another team in the background with their own interesting tales.

-First Day-
The second airship at beacon academy landed and students began dispersing out into the open academy grounds.

"This is so exciting!" Iris Deuce Chere stepped out into grounds, smiling at random trainees as they came out. Her enthusiasm was infectious to most of the students that stepped out. Almost immediately, she'd at least made 3 friends.

Of course, not everyone was easy to get into the multicolor highlights girl's drive.
One boy in blue clothing kept his head down and his ears on his headphones, ignoring the girl's attempt to approach her. Raz Sakuraba just didn't have the time for her.

"Huh." She said to herself.

"Not everyone's as friendly as you." Another boy walked beside her. "Everyone has a reason to be here. I guess his just isn't to talk with people."

Iris turned her head to him. The boy had ash blonde hair and wore a green, sleeveless hoodie over black shirt. He seemed into green and black quite a lot. His gloves being green as well, and his shoes being a mixture of the two. Only his pants were a different color.

"I guess you're right." She smiled again. "I'm Iris Deuce Chere. Just call me Iris."
The boy opened her mouth to say his name. Then he shut it for a second of hesitation before closing his eyes and reciprocating the smile. "Sidus Grey. Nice to meet you."

"Hey! Sidus!" A girl with long, luscious yellow hair called. "We're going on ahead! Catch you later?"

"Okay." He shouted in reply. "And Yang, maybe you shouldn't abandon your little sister!"

"She'll be fine!" She shouted as she and a group of people began running off.

"Friend of yours?" Iris asked.

Sidus nodded. "I went to Signal with her and her little sister."

"What are you doing?!" The two looked ahead as they heard arguing around the fountain.

"Speaking of…" Sidus says as he pointed at the commotion. A girl with a red hood was taking a brunt of angry shouting from another girl. This one wore an elegant combat skirt that was equally as white as her hair.

"Isn't that…" Iris starts.

"Weiss Schnee." Sidus' voice had more than a sense of recognition, but Iris couldn't quite tell. "Heiress to the Schnee Dust Company. And the other girl is the aforementioned little sister, Ruby."

As the argument went on, the red hood girl sneezed and an explosion of dust erupted around where they stood.

"I think it would be best if we moved along. Wouldn't want to get caught and presumed to be part of this mess, hm?" A voice behind them said.
Behind Iris and Sidus, a boy with disheveled silver hair and sly purple eyes grinned at the happenings at the fountain.

"And you are?" Iris asked.

"Yoshiya Murasakino. Pleasure." His tone was more snarky than pleased though. "Anyway, the auditorium is this way. Care to join me?"

"Sure." Sidus replied. With that, the three walked off, continuing introductions as they made their way to the auditorium.
