Draco stabbed at his plate repeatedly, not caring that his egg now looked like a massive pile of mush. His mind had long drifted away from the plate, and had gone to yesterday's events.

Pansy, of course, had a complete bitch fit about Draco's decision to end their relationship. Throwing plates, glasses, rare crockery… All of which led Draco to a long stay at the Hospital Wing. But, he'd needed to break up with her. Because, to be truthful, Draco Malfoy had given up on women.

"Draco?" Draco looked up from his now battered breakfast, just to see a battered looking Pansy batting her eyelashes (with the one eye that wasn't brown and swollen) down at him. Admittedly, Draco had put up a fight yesterday. And it seemed to have paid off.

"What?" Draco put down his fork.

"I'm sorry. I- I shouldn't have hurt you. I really do miss you though... I'll tell you what. I'm giving you a chance to get me back. Come to me in the Potions classroom at six?" Pansy smiled flirtasiously at him, leaving Crabbe and Goyle drooling, and Draco rolling his eyes.

But, he was going to get Pansy back. Dating her gave him a reputation. And covered up the ract that he was gay. Maybe he'd only have to date her until the end of his seventh year- then he was free to be whoever he wanted to be.

Harry stood in the entrance hall, staring at Ginny. He was starting to doubt his love for her- not that he was gay, but, just, not in love with girls. But, he didn't really like any boys either. So, he was just one big unemotional idiot. How nice.

He started pacing the room, thinking. He thought of girls. Soft, long hair... amazing scent... nice, thin, tanned legs... breasts... But nothing. He didn't feel anything. Then he thought of boys. Six pack abs, cute face, muscular arms... But still, nothing. Did this mean he would grow up, have a wife that he didn't care for, and children that he hated? He didn't want that sort of life. He wanted someone to love. Someone amazing. Someone like...

"Draco?" Harry realised that he was on the floor, looking up at Draco Malfoy.

"Potter, the Entrance hall is a public place, not somewhere for you to just stand and drool all over the floor. No one wants to see that," Draco furrowed his brow.

" I didn't realise..."

"Well, you should realise. I just... Just stay out of my way, right?" with that, Draco left Harry to inspect his own drool alone.
