Secret love

Hi I'm Yuuri Katsuki, I'm 14, and this is my love story.

It all began the Saturday before the new term started. I was on my way to Hasetsu Castle for my weekly training, you see I'm competing in the 'Japan Junior Figure Skating Championships' this year. It was when I arrived at the ice-skating rink that I noticed an unusual amount of girls at the entrance.

I went to the front desk where my friend Yuuko sat, she worked there, her parents owned Hasetsu Castle. I gave her a curious look and asked "hey Yuuko, what's up with all of these girls. I thought that the girls group practice was in the afternoon?".

She looked really excited and she silently said "Hey Yuuri! Yes you're right, but those girls are here because some hot guy our age came here, and most of those girls followed him inside. He didn't even notice. But I think he was expecting something like this to happen."

Confused I asked "Why do you think so?"

"Well, because he requested to hire the entire skating rink for himself for an hour. And now that I think about it it's about time for him to finish up in there. How about it Yuuri, do you want to see if he's your type." She grinned.

'She knows I'm gay, why is she teasing me so much about it.' I began to blush and I almost fainted, but the sound of all those girls squealing stopped my fall. I looked over and saw the most gorgeous man I've ever seen in my entire life.

I stared at him as he left, my face still cherry red, I fell to the ground when Yuuko surprised me by practically yelling in my ear "I just knew he would be your type and he likes skating just like you!"

Embarrassed that she noticed me staring I went to put on my skates.

I was so distracted while doing my warm-up laps that I almost skated into the wooden fence around the rink.

But I had to snap out of it I needed to get some practice in before I had to leave for dinner.

After practice while taking off my skates Yuuko kept asking me if I was going to try asking him out, but I blushed and answered "I don't think I'll ever see him again Yuuko, and even if I did I'd be way too shy to talk to him."

I left Yuuko's words still fresh in my mind. When I got home I was pleasantly surprised to find that my mom had made my favourite food for dinner, katsudon, but I couldn't enjoy it to the fullest because my mind kept wondering off to the guy I saw at Hasetsu. This caused my mom to worry and she advised me to go to bed early tonight.

But even in my dreams he couldn't leave me alone.
