This is just a little drabble I came up with and felt like posting here. It's based off a small plot bunny, as well as some older Beast Era Wreckers comics.

Let me know if you if you want to see this continued. Also Reviews are very much appreciated so thanks :D

Transformers Prime is owned by Has/Tak, I own nothing

"Absolutely not,"

Wheeljack dropped the data-pad. Glaring at Magnus . Magnus, to his credit, stayed calm. He'd been expecting this. One side dreading it.

"I have reservations of my own,but I couldn't deny the request," He said.

"He's a con Magnus," Wheeljack snapped. ",don't beat around the bush."

Magnus cocked his eyebrow in confusion. The phrase was alien, but familiar.

"Earth term," Was all Wheeljack said. It was all that needed to be said. Magnus nodded. In their time on earth they;d picked up many human phrases.

Some more vague than others. Bu they made perfect sense to the kids.

"His records clean, for a Decepticon at least," he pointed out.

"That doesn't mean scrap "Sir," Wheeljack replied. ",Why would a Decepticon want to join the Wreckers anyway?"

"Why not?" Asked Magnus.

"Some Decepticons have been following in his footsteps, joining police units and militias,"

"A recipe for disaster if you ask me," Wheeljack said.

Old wounds healed hard. Especially four million year old wounds. Wheeljack had a point though. Few, if any, had trust in the Decepticons. It was again, understandable. The Decepticons had been the instigators in the war.

But if Cybertron was to move forward, they needed to be united.

"I don't trust this," Said Wheeljack.

"Truth be told, I'm wary myself." Admitted Magnus.

"Then why fork him on me and Miko?" Wheeljack crossed his arms.

"Because I can trust you," That took Wheeljack back..

"What?"

"I trust that whatever happens, you and Miko can handle it," Magnus explained. It wasn't a lie. Wheeljack smiled then leaned back.

"Well then, that changes things,"

Magnus rolled his eyes. His comment about trust wasn't a lie. But he was a little aggravated at having to stroke Wheeljack's ego. But sometimes, he just had to knuckle down, and do what needed to be done.

"He'll be reporting for duty tomorrow," He finished.

"I expect, that you two will actually train him,"

Wheeljack stood up and gave a half hearted salute. He almost threw his facemask. But that would have given away his grin.

"Don't worry commander," He turned to walk away. ",We'll teach Skywarp all about being a wrecker."

"You do that," Magnus said simply.

Without saying more, Wheeljack left Magnus office. Magnus watched him go as the door shut.

He'd paired Skywarp with them for two reasons. One was to see if he actually meant what he said. Wanting to "turn a new leaf," as the humans aid.

The other reason, maybe his pranks could take Wheeljack down a peg. Of course, they might just team up and become worse.

But, it was a risk he was willing to take. Then his energon blew up in his face.
