My friend decided to call me Cinder-baby, and she began singing that Rubber Duckie song from Sesame Street. I also call her my Hiro-san, and she sometimes calls me Nowaki. This was the result.
Hiroki woke to the sound of his ringtone. Groaning, he rolled over and grabbed it, flipping it open and pressing it to his ear.
"ello…"
"Hiro-san! I'm sorry for waking you up, but I just realized that I left my black Boston bag at home! Can you bring it to the hospital later please?"
"Damn you Nowaki… fine, I'll bring it. At least let me get up though…"
"Thank you Hiro-san! I love you!"
"Sure sure… bye." Hiroki hung up his phone and sat up, rubbing his eyes sleepily.
After about an hour, Hiroki grabbed the black bag and set off towards the hospital.
He arrived and asked the welcome desk where Nowaki was. The lady cheerfully told him he was in the children's ward, and Hiroki thanked her and made his way there.
He poked his head into the ward, and saw Nowaki engrossed in the television, along with a large amount of children. Sesame Street was playing, and Ernie was singing that ridiculous song about his rubber duck.
Hiroki snorted as he walked over and placed the bag next to Nowaki. The tall man looked up and sent a dazzling smile at the older man, mouthing his thanks before returning his attention back to the children.
Hiroki nodded and gave a small smile of his own before departing.
Nowaki came home late that night, and he poked his head into the living room. Hiroki was busy grading papers, his hair pulled back with bobby pins. He was humming softly under his breath.
Nowaki froze as Hiroki murmured a few words.
"Nowaki baby, you're the one. Who makes bathtime lots of fun~"
The next day, Hiroki couldn't stand to teach his classes and Nowaki's skin was strangely shiny and smooth.
