It was a warm summer day as Itachi and I walked through a patch of woods on our way to a lake we had been assigned to investigate. We walked through the woods and suddenly I felt a very powerful presence of Chakra.

"Do you feel that?" I asked looking at Itachi.

"Yes. It seems to be coming from the lake." He replied.

"You think so? Well then we are probably gonna have our hands full." I said lacing my fingers behind my head and looking forward again. He nodded. The sun streamed through the breaks in the trees as we walked, illuminating our path. Finally we could see the edge of the forest and we emerged onto a cliff overlooking the lake. The presence of Chakra had grown in potency, almost as if the air itself were filled with it.

"I haven't felt Chakra anywhere near this powerful since the Ten Tails' revival." I said. At that moment the ground shook and the water began to rise from the surface of the lake as whatever it was that was in the lake emerged.

"Wh-what is that thing?" I asked in astonishment. Itachi didn't say anything but activated his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Water fell from the beast in massive amounts, its size dwarfing the cliff we stood on. It had green scales covering its body, its gigantic eyes with slitted pupils. I activated my Mangekyou Sharingan.

"Tid, your Mangekyou Sharingan won't help us against this beast. It's better if you deactivate it to slow the blindness." Itachi said.

I sighed. He had a point. I switched back to my normal Sharingan. The beast looked like a gigantic komodo dragon, its mouth filled with many fangs that could probably rip us in two with a single bite. It roared at us and the sound forced us to cover our ears. When it stopped I weaved hand signs.

"Fire Style: Flaming Bomb Barrage!" I said. Several spheres made of fire appeared in the air before me and flew toward the beast with incredible speed and exploded upon contact. The beast roared with pain.

"Itachi!"

"Right," He said. He closed his left eye and opened his right.

"Amaterasu!" He said. The black flames burst into existence in front of the beast and attached themselves to the beast's chest. It looked at us and roared. It opened its mouth wide and began charging an attack.

"Shit! Look out!" I warned. The beast fired and a pressurized beam of water engulfed Itachi and I, forcing us into the forest.

I collided with a tree and slid down as the water began to dissipate from around us.

"Damn, this beast is powerful." I swore. Itachi nodded.

"Far more powerful than our last encounter." He agreed.

"I can't use my chains; they wouldn't be able to subdue it. I need something more powerful, something that will be able to stop it in one go." I said.

All of a sudden the sky grew darker. We looked up and saw the beast about to body-slam us. We ran as fast as we could to avoid the attack and barely managed to get out of the way in time.

"Come on!" I exclaimed to Itachi.

We ran towards the lake and jumped off of the cliff, followed by the beast. Itachi and I landed and sprinted to avoid being crushed by the beast.

"Itachi, do you think you can use your Susano'o on it?" I asked.

He nodded. At that moment the beast crashed down on the water, sending a huge wave at us. Itachi weaved hand signs.

"Water Style: Water Wall!" He said. Another wall of water shot up out of the lake and collided with the wave that was coming after us. The two pushed against each other then fell back into the lake. The beast resurfaced and stared at us.

"Itachi, do it now." I said.

His Susano'o burst to life around him. He ran toward the beast and it rose further out of the water, having only been half submerged before. The beast charged up its blast of water again. Itachi was fine in his Susano'o, but I wasn't. I didn't even know how to use the Susano'o, although I possessed the Mangekyou Sharingan. The beast fired and Itachi raised the Yata Mirror to defend. The ball of water exploded and decompressed, turning into a violent torrent of rushing water that rivaled even that of the Second Hokage's strongest Jutsu. I inhaled before the blast hit me and held my breath for as long as I could. I was thrown about this way and that, not knowing which way was up and which was down. Eventually the waters settled and I swam to the surface.

I broke the surface of the water, gasping for breath. I climbed out of the water as if it were solid ground and stood there, still panting. I looked over and saw Itachi once again running at the beast. The beast spun around, trying to hit Itachi with its tail, but Itachi blocked it using the Yata Mirror. When Itachi was close enough, he raised his arm and brought the Totsuka Blade down on the beast. The beast roared with pain, then started to become absorbed by the blade. The beast seemed to melt as the blade absorbed it, eventually letting out one last roar of outrage as it was completely absorbed. Itachi deactivated his Susano'o and walked back over to me.

"Well, now that that is taken care of, should we report back to the others?" I asked.

He nodded. We started walking back when the water started to shake violently. Beneath us the water started to split into two halves. It happened so fast we couldn't react and we fell into the space between the two halves. We fell until we couldn't see the sun anymore, and then continued to fall even more. I looked underneath me and saw a swirling white light. I looked at Itachi, whose face was now illuminated by the light ahead of us. His eyes were wide and his mouth was slightly open in a look of surprise. His Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan was still activated. We continued to fall and the light continued to get closer and closer. We fell through the light and everything went dark as I became unconscious.

"Hello?" I heard a faint voice say.

It repeated the word, growing louder and louder with every second as I drew closer to consciousness. I opened my eyes and saw a purple blur standing above me. I couldn't make out the features, but I knew it must've been alive since it backed away from me. I sat up and immediately I was in pain from a splitting headache. I held my head with one hand and forced my left eye open, hoping to clear my vision a little. Gradually my vision became sharper and I was able to make out distinct features. My eyes widened with surprise as I saw that the world I was in didn't seem real. It looked a little cartoon-ish, almost as if I were transported to a different dimension entirely. Is this Genjutsu? I thought to myself. I activated my Sharingan. I looked around, but there were no signs of this being Genjutsu.

"I'm glad you're awake," The creature said.

I turned my head to look at it and my disbelief in what I was seeing increased dramatically when I saw the pony, or should I say, unicorn. The unicorn that stood before me had purple skin, and matching eyes. Her mane was black and nicely trimmed with nearly perfectly even bangs in the front; it also had a streak of purple and pink in it. She had a purple horn and matching wings tucked in on her sides. Another strange thing I noticed, she was wearing clothes!

"Where are we?" I asked the unicorn.

She giggled as if this was a silly question.

"You're in Ponyville, of course." She replied.

"Ponyville? I've never heard of this place." I said.

She looked confused.

"You're not from around here, are you?" She asked.

I shook my head.

"Well then, if you'll follow me, I'll show you around." She said. I stood up as she started to walk away.

"Wait, what about my friend?" I asked gesturing towards Itachi.

"Oh, right, I almost forgot about him," She replied. I walked over to Itachi.

"Itachi, wake up." I said and lightly patted his face to wake him.

His eyes opened gradually and he looked at me.

"Tid? Where are we?" He asked.

"This pony says we're in Ponyville." I replied. He sat up and looked around.

"It's not Genjutsu, trust me, I've checked already." I said.

He sighed and closed his eyes.

"Genjutsu? What's that?" The pony asked.

"Er, yes. Shouldn't we get going?" I asked, trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, you're right. Come on, follow me." She replied.

I breathed a sigh of relief.

"Come on Itachi, let's go."
